Why do I get out of breath running on a track but if i step on one of them step machine thingys at a decent pace i dont get out of breath?
I used to get out of breath now i dont?
:?

Maybe on the step you are moving mostly just your legs - your body stays in one place - but running you are moving your entire weight constantly, pushing it forward and lifting it each step?

^yes it is different when you are running outside than running on a step or any machine. It is much better to run outside as it is more challenging but if you are going out of breathe maybe slow down or only do a few minutes and build ypur cardio up.

Yes, I have experienced this too.

On machine, I could run a lot. When I run in the park, I am out of breath way sooner.

But running out is much better as you can build your stamina up in the best way possible. Plus, it's in the fresh air rather than being confined in some place.

Thank for the replies.
Will hit the track for my gym routine.
