Stealing food

Go sell some CD's, pawn a stereo, sell one of your books back to teh school bookstore, etc.

A jar ofpeanut butter and a bag of enriched rice will keep you alive for quite some time. Itll keep you supplied with uber-basic vitamins, carbohydrates, fats, and protien.
 
yes, it's immoral to steal food, or anything for that matter
(but I've never been very big on morals)
but if I was starving and had no money,
I'd do it - as a last resort

the first thing I would do is tell your employer to help you out
make your boss or supervisor aware of the situation they've put you in
it sounds like it's their fault,
ask them to front you a small amount of money until they can pay you
shit, have them take it out of your next paycheck that they aren't giving you when they were supposed to

if that doesn't work, go sell some stuff...
when I was broke, I sold some of my old clothes,
CD's and video games,
or get a job doing something on the weekend,
even if it means dressing up in a Little Ceasar's costume and standing on the street corner holding a sign that says "PIZZA PIZZA"

You could always just go door to door and ask for food or go to a restaurant and ask if you can help with dishes or something for a couple of hours in exchange for a meal.
 
Well, I begged on the side of a street and it was the most humilliating experience of my life. At least I'm not hungry and can study though.

This is really depressing :(.

Don't they have soup kitchens or something like that in your area? Call/go to a church and ask them if they know of any. They will definitely help you out.

I hope things look up for you soon.
 
If your stealing from shops well its a lot better than stealing from and old lady tyring to put her shopping in the back of a car..

like it has been said as mates if they could help you out from time to time :)
 
Assuming you cut into a large firm's profits rather than someone's real, tangible livelihood...hell no, it would not be immoral.

I use my University's computer. The only thing I have to sell are a number of testosterone ampules, which I doubt many people on the street would buy.
 
Could you try sending out an email to any and all of your friends letting them know what's going on and that you'd pay them back? Couldn't someone paypal you money or something? Sorry about your situation, it does indeed suck. And no, I personally don't think it's immoral for a hungry person to steal food, but it may be risky depending on the situation. Good luck.
 
man I hope things start looking up for you. I'll say the same thing as everyone else.....go to a soup kitchen. There is usually one in every town. Didnt you say you use the University PC.....If you're going to school you can usually get a meal plan, just let them know your situation.

Could you ask your parents/family for money?


I see that you use roids, Hell man, as a last resort I'd say try to find a job in a strip club.....i heard they pay pretty good.
 
Just go steal from corporate fast food places or corporate supermarket chains.

It's not even slightly immoral. Think of it as payback for them raping the planet.
 
The only person i would feel bad about taking the food from in a poor street vendor, or some old women( that looked poor only).

You need food to live. It's not going to hurt the store a dent, the amount your going to take.

Get off the street.
 
stealing isn't worth it because of getting caught. instead of begging people for money, beg them for food.
 
In Australia we have many organisations that support the homeless. This includes food, accomodation, health services, financial support, etc. To name one off the top of my head would be the Salvation Army.

I dont know worldwide but here in Oz I believe we have the services available to those who seek it and stealing food really isnt needed, but then again, I'm not in that situation and if I was my opinions and thoughts could be completely different.

the house at the end of my road was broken into and all that was taken was food......... I dont understand why the person went through the hassle of robbing a house and not just a food shop?, but If my house was broken into and all that was taken was food I'd be kinda glad!!

Go to the student union or student services. Careful with begging, it's illegal.
