STARSCAPE - Saturday, Sept. 27th 2003 - Baltimore, MD

^^^well when you buy alcohol or smokes or papers or whatever, and they check your ID, most places look to see if its you, check the date, then scan it to make sure its not a fake or its not expired or its not a duplicate... its a bitch to get around.
 
^ Oh. well they don't do that around here :\ I mean they check your ID of course but they don't scan it. So you won't have to worry about being scanned around here! =D

Yeah... once upon a time I ordered two tickets to go see Saves the Day, Get Up Kids, Hot Rod Circuit and DJ Spooky at Lupos in Providence, RI. I ordered my tickets through ticketmaster the day they went on sale months before the actual concert.

I never got the tickets.

Nobody ever returned my emails.

I didn't get into the show.

I am ALL SET with ticketmaster... and when I do need tix from them now (like with Starscape) I make someone else order them that has always gotten their tickets in a timely fashion (hi Dave). DAMN THE MAN.

Oh yeah, and WHOOOOOOOOO STARSCAPE IN A MATTER OF DAYS YEAH!!!!

My suggestion to you is to go to the DMV Monday morning and get a new one if your so worried about your ID. Depending on state laws, if an ID is cracked, torn or broken, it can be deemed unnaceptable for a form of identification.
 
^Yup, something along those lines happened to a friend of mine. Her ID was cracked in half, but someone laminated it for her so she wouldnt lose half of it. A bunch of us went out to drink, and her ID wasn't accepted. Sort of ruined our night since we obviously weren't going to go in and drink if she couldn't.

Good advice coming from Sir Web.

Katie- You should have told me about that ticketmaster story before, I know Saves the Day, most of them used to be in a band with my best friend.

The decision has been made, I am coming out of retirement(again) and making my way to Maryland. See everyone this weekend

Eeek! No way. :) I actually just saw them last Thursday night in Providence (finally!) with Dave/TopRocka. Soooooooo good. At least a few good things came out of Jersey! :p

And yay yay yay yay yay Eric's coming out of retirement (again)!! Can't wait to see ya hon.

My money situations are better than I hoped for.... Hotel should be taken care of already!(Thanx CeeCee!) Tickets in hand... Have time off from work! and My ride(frosty) is still set to go so it looks like the Road Trip will take off in less than 5 days! Whoot Whoot! Frosty Has work till 4ish on Friday so we will be leaving after she gets done!
 
I have to pull out for personal reasons. I've loved every single previous Starscape, but there is just too much going on right now.

I'm surprisingly okay with this... but not really.

Does anyone know if the party is going to happen because of the Hurricane
that just hit Baltimore? Shit me and my wife have not miss a starscape yet!
I got my tickets, my hotel room, and my car already to go!:(

Well, I'm off to get my Starscape ticket in Bmore as soon as I eat dinner! I'm so excited!! Its a damn good thing their site is working again and that I called. THEY MOVED TO A NEW ADDRESS. haha. So I'm glad I didn't just show up like I was going to.

I'm such a dork. I didn't even know it was going to happen this year.

Anyway, I'd really like to swing it... Anyone in Indiana or Ohio have room for me in their vehicle? I still need to get work done on my staion wagon and I don't want to end up broken down on the side of the road. I'm currently living in central Illinois.

Also, any of the people I know and love have bedspace? Floorspace? Bathtubspace? Hit me up. If I can figure out the details, I'll definately come. For once in my life money isn't a problem. Thank god for small favors.
