from what i can gather from a couple of sites, the hotel is about 5 miles or so from the venue, and when i asked about it, they did not know the park, but said that it was less than a 15 min. drive to sparrows pt...so something like that

hmmm...i'm hoping to find something a lil cheaper than $100. we're all gonna share one room right mooch and kurve?? that will save us a lot. about the 2 cars idea...it's understandable that we may be squished, but i almost can't afford gas split between the 4 of us, and now between just 2 is going to be really really difficult for me

Well our two slots are filled.Allstar and evoldcia are staying with us.
Since no one is going to step up and take charge of doing the meet up I will attempt to do it from down here in NC.I say we all meet up at the best western at 4:00.From there we can all get a light dinner.After that people can do whatever they want to.Then at 10 we will have a meet up out side the venue.Anyone who knows what the park looks like please suggest a location for the meet up.Push come to shove we can all just meet at the best western at 9:30 and drive up together.

Okay, I'll have to admit that I'm a little bit scared that I may not run into any of you folks.. Unfortunately my gf won't be getting off of work until around 6:30 p.m., so I won't be in Baltimore until 8:30 at the earliest, more realistically 9:30-ish (she'z slow as hell.. Damn women

) I guess I'm gonna go ahead and make reservations at the Best Western this week, so we'll be crashing there, but if I get to the park at 10:30 or 11:00 for some reason, I guess I'm gonna have to run around like a mad man trying to find a bunch of Bluelighters and I don't even know what 95% of you all look like.. Derrrrr... Are we gonna have a meet up spot inside the park? I dunno, I'm gonna try my hardest to get there on time, but if for some reason I can't.. I dunno, I'll come up with something.

I'm with liquid... since the majority of us are at best western... we'll tentatively say meet-up there around 4/5? in the afternoon. If it comes up that everyone is more scattered at different hotels by then, we'll arrange for something else!!!

This is going to be insane guys. A large ball of fun insanity... I just hope Ebow doesn't lose his pants this time....

unfornitly soulfly he isnt.I just asked him to make the post in this forum cause I didnt relize I could.
As far as being able to meet up inside the area.I will personally get up with the promoters and pull a few strings and see about them letting us bring in our sign(if someone from fl can get it from daiseybabe).I'm pretty sure I can talk him into letting us do it.After this weekend I should have all plans finalized about a pre party meet up including dinner,info on after party and everything.
Does anyone know the layout of the park?If not when I e-mail the promoter's today I will see if I can get a map layout of the park and how it will be set up.From there we can work out some better details.

after much confusion..... i will be there.
if someone can find out if there's a Hampton, Hilton, Four Seasons, or Embassy in the area, i can get rooms for $29/night but you would have to let me know how many rooms pretty quick, so i can book it with my boss.
actually, I just need to know where the hell this place IS in baltimore... i couldn't find Ft. Armistead on mapquest. anyone have a better idea where this place is?

Well unless E-girl can get those cheap rooms (sorry I don't know where the hell the park is either), eternalsunrise and I are gonna book a room at the Best Western. We should be able to make any meet-up time at the hotel. Like I said before I'm gonna be in B-more next weeekend so I'm gonna try to figure out where the hell everything is up there.

e-girl - i looked on yahoo and there is a hampton inn that is close to the park (the same distance as the howard johnsons) so it would be sweet if there's a way that we could all get a bunch of cheap rooms

For those of you trying to find ft armistead park on mapquest....
Type in Fort Armistead Road (spell it all out just like I have it) where it says address and intersection. Put Baltimore for city and MD for state of course.
Once you get the map that has Fort Armistead Road on it.... then you hit the right border of the map that says East 1 time..
On this next screen you should see Fort Armistead Park in the upper right side.
If you inlarger the map slightly you should be able to see Ft. Armistead Park if you cant already see it... A place called Foremans Corner I think is a little north of Ft. Armistead... both are near the water.
On a larger (zoomed out map) I think Glen Burnie is to the left of Fort Armistead Park
Airport is to the left of Glen Burnie
I hope this information helps some of you guys navigate your way to and from and around the venue area...
