Armistead Park is pretty much in the middle of BFE. I remember walking up thinking we were going to the Cement (or paper, i don't know) Plant right next to it. I really don't remember much of anything being within a 20 mile radius of the park. I know there is a gas station, a bridge, and some water.Not much else. They might have built somthing since i've been gone,..not sure. Have fun at foam party. Last time i went to one of Buzz's foam parties my pants got soaked up to the knees, and smelt like shit!! What the hell do they use to make the bubbles ?!!! Shit N' Suds?!! It was a good night though.

i know what you mean about that soap shit though cause they had it at the club i worked at in boston and sooo many people would end up goin to the hospital to get that shit out of people's eyes.

We are, i'm just saying there isn't anything around the park (were we'll be sat. night). we'll have to drive about 15-20 min to get to a hotel. Shit...it's better than 12 hours!

As for planning a meetup: in a few weeks as we get closer to the event, it would be a great idea to figure out how to get everybody together before the party. Lunch worked great at OL ... ideas?
 
Ok people, I hope this is somewhat accurate, and hopefully this will help some people out.
I went to Yahoo! and mapped Armistead Park in Baltimore, MD and it gave me a map of Sparrows Point, MD (is this accurate?) Then under Find Nearby Services, I clicked on Hotels and Motels.. Again, I don't have the address, street name, zip code, or anything like that, so if someone knows more accurately, we can run a better search. But hopefully this will help. We should reserve a small block of rooms or something -- just a thought. Maybe we can get a group rate or something, I dunno.

Every year its been selling out quicker than the year before. Last year they were sold out a week early. I'd expect the same this year, or even quicker, but I'm sure there won't be any sales at the gate.

soulfly, in all honesty, I would try to get them this weekend, or at least by next weekend.. They may be around longer -- they may even be around the day of the event (hey, anything'z possible - they may even be gone by this evening.) But I would say that to be safe, you should get them pretty soon. Beatnut was correct in saying that they sell out faster and faster each year. It'z becoming a very well known event, and people are coming from all over for it (hence the National Meetup.)
