songs you feel in your bones

sometimes a song just speaks to you and you just feel it deep in you. like those words, the music, the feel, the vibe, is just speakin from inside of you from all the places u cant explain, like it defines you and your life at the moment in the most perfect way.

of course at different times, different songs speak to you in that way, it all depends on where u at in life at the time.

so this threads for namin wat those songs are and when was the time that they apply to. post a utube link if u want to the song, and PLEASE post (SOME) of the lyrics that especially had meaning to you. plz dont just post the whole lyrics--just include the relevant parts. and then tell us a lil bit about it. il

Rituals by Mr Key ft Greenwood Sharps and Jam Baxter

"when it's more than just a psychedelic pattern on the ceiling
If seeing will be believing it's feeling that gives it meaning
Thirty demons deep and said each of us needs a reason
My reason's the inner peace and the feeling of reaching freedom
When it's more than just an absence of constraint
More than just a lacking of the shackle and a chain
What it ain't, what it is
I ain't gonna tell you what it is though
You'll have to find out for yourself how to live"

News to Me by Jam Baxter and Ronnie Bosh

"pull up a tune, pull up a pew
pull up the roots of all that you couldn't consume
I could list all I've cared about in my life to date on the back of a stamp
With room left for a smiley face
No time to waste, these high rise blocks got skies to scrape
And these bright eyed moths got lights to chase
I'm wide awake, where are you?
Staring at your pair of shoes, scared that you barely move?
Well I'm there for you
Cos I'm wary too
And living life the proper way is something I rarely do
I ain't half the man I used to be, truthfully
But ima grow a newer breed mutant where the wound should be
Where the wound should be
They say I ain't changed a bit but that's news to me"

Waah waah waah by Jam Baxter

"anyway never got a measley penny mate
never change never made P's at a steady rate but
Wish I'd thought about money less and love more
Talk til there's nothing else left but my numb jaw falling
Plumb a next step with a skunk draw, sure
Til they come and sell death to my front door
Love's the blood sport... So touch gloves
Punch punch punch til their guts run forth"

Louie, Louie by Honey Ltd. (1968)

I don't think it's possible for a song to be more euphoric.

Why Don't You Smile Now by The All Night Workers (1965) sounds like the masculine counterpart to the song (Honey Ltd. is a girl group).

I don't post audios in this thread because these old songs sound really, really bad with a cheap pair of headphones on a cheap laptop, so I don't recommend listening to them immediately.

This is a psychedelic, heavy electric cover of Johnny B. Goode by young girls!

💜🤘🔥🙏
Finally a move away from patronising, insulting & infantilising LGBTQ measures to categorise people into a "special group" ...horrificly, insulting shit, to launder money into politician's pockets.( Of course there will be a new "cause" to launder tax payers money to, but it's worth noting to keep up to not chocking on the propagandist bullshit, as it's spoon-fed to us)

The lyre frame. 😂
