Lyrics Songs where they managed to slip like obscenities or "references" through?

I was thinking about when Britney Spears released this:

And managed to get the regular version out on radio etc before people noticed. Not sure how; if you listen, it's very clearly F-U-C-K-Me

Was wondering about other examples of this type of thing?

One example I've always liked is Little Richard's Good Golly Miss Molly (1958).
Not only does she "sure like to ball," but she does so "in The House of Delight," which sounds like a brothel to me....

Even "rocking and rolling" could mean "fucking" in those days, although it could also refer to dancing or spiritual ecstasy (as in a church service).

i think a lot of today's new music is full of obscenities.
best example is reggaeton, which is very often only sex talk.
it's parent genre dancehall has also lots of blatant "invitations"

What about the greatest psychedelic song ever? White Rabbit, Jefferson Airplane: Hello
8 miles High: The Byrds, 2nd greatest

All music does this. Whether it's double or triple entondras or what have you..music will always be interpretation of the listener and every different person may interpret lyrics in any way they hear it, to give it a meaningful sense to what they are experiencing.

That said I'm just going to drop the mic with Kendrick Lamar. Nuff said. Do your homework if you're a young ass, or way too old of an old head. If you don't like it that's fine, I encourage everyone to read the lyrics from all diss tracks to drake into GNX album..then maybe the dumbos that thought it was the worst superbowl ever, will start to open their eyez to the MUCH bigger picture that Kdot has been about since good kid maad city.

^I was just going to say the list is practically as long as artists --- the complete misconceptions that spread about what songs are about are pretty funny too.. Shite gets back to the artist "No message just needed a word that rhymed and said what I had to" --- You had to pick that word/phrase as some kind of double entendre/hidden meaning/dogwhistle. "No I really didn't" and fans will refuse to accept that (Even funnier) W/e that song is about an abortion/addiction(insertgossip) I dont care what the artist says THINK ABOUT IT.

Sorry, saw this thread and had to add this song.

I don't think there are any "hidden obscenities or references", but I might be missing something.

Wonder what that could be. :ROFLMAO:

Literally laughed out loud again watching now... LMAO

Ok, all jokes aside, my previous post was purely for humour.

But was taking a walk to the shop and was thinking about this thread ( weird, I know ), but I needed cigarettes and can't control my thoughts.

This song, from way back in the day, "hit" me and I am posting it now before I forget.

Cool song too, and many memories as well, and is "on topic" regarding this thread. IMO

The Slaugterhouse [mysterious not totally figured what the actual one is],

To stand on, and spread my gospel to the rest of the village.

Wished landlord/ gouvernement and police could be dissed.

Slaughter-House effect: Joker/Joaquim Phoenix/ REN/ Eminem

But that seemed far fetched, found this.

Good subtle continuous disses and stabs to establishment.

Damage Inc by Metallica
Dealing out the agony within
Charging hard and no one's gonna give in
Living on your knees, conformity
Or dying on your feet for honesty
Inbred, our bodies work as one
Bloody, but never cry submission
Following our instinct not a trend
Go against the grain until the end

Blood will follow blood
Dying time is here
Damage incorporated

Slamming through, don't fuck with razorback
Stepping out, you'll feel our hell on your back
Blood follows blood and we make sure
Life ain't for you and we're the cure
Honesty is my only excuse
Try to rob us of it, but it's no use
Steamroller action crushing all
Victim is your name and you shall fall

Blood will follow blood
Dying time is here
Damage incorporated

We chew and spit you out
We laugh, you scream and shout
All flee, with fear you run
You'll know just where we come from
Damage incorporated
Go

Damage jackals ripping right through you
Sight and smell of this, it gets me goin'
Know just how to get just what we want
Tear it from your soul in nightly hunt
Fuck it all and fucking no regrets
Never happy ending on these dark sets
All's fair for damage inc. you see
Step a little closer if you please

Blood will follow blood
Dying time is here
Damage incorporated
Two barely audible f-bombs. Not exactly slipped in though I think they had to slap an explicit label on Master of Puppets because of it and I think this was one of if not the first album to have to do that (1986).

It just occured to me that the line "fuck it all and no regrets" from the chorus of St Anger is probably (definitely) a reference to Damage Inc. That's cool.
