Songs that havent aged- get into an argument here!

Hahaha....you know what's funny, people are always quick to pay out the cheesey '80s music but I think everyone has been guilty of getting pissed and singing along to the cheese at some stage in their lives. We should have a BL meetup there....jk.

hehehee what if I said Khe Sahn?
ahem. nah, won't say that.
anything old by the cure.
anything between 1971-1979.
for timeless tracks. you can't beat the cure. maybe I just like boys who wear lipstick.

nice list pinger some awesome songs to add are:
Beastie boys (almost all are excellent songs, Fight for your right- bitta old skool flava)
salt n peppa- push it
Red hot chili peppers- under the bridge

Okay...here goes nothing.
What exactly is this thread about?
If you really think about it *most* (at least 70%) of the songs mentioned have *aged*. You guys seems to be just chucking on stuff that people still like...that does'nt mean it has'nt aged.
"Angel is a Centrefold"! Come on! That song is the definition of aged...so's all that Eagle's shite. I'm not having a go at anyone...jeez you can like what you want - but to say that some of those songs have'nt *aged* is a bit much. Most of the songs mentioned remind me of what I was doing when they came out..the sounds are old. Even songs that are touted as being ahead of there time eventually are in that time.
Anyway...I'm going to put up a white flag now and watch the abuse roll in. I'll close with some of my *favourties*:
I Spy - by Pulp
Razamataz - by Pulp
Valet Parking - by The Auteurs
Land Lovers - by The Auteurs
There's gonna be an Accident - by Luke Haines
1963 - by New Order
Surf Wax America - by Weezer
Neon Lights - by Kraftwerk
Girl Afraid - by The Smiths
Roxanne - by The Police
Balde - by Front Line Assembly

I think each persons answer will reflect the time they were teenagers in ( i mean around 14-17???) which is a very significant time in everyones life, it's when u kind of discover who u r!! So these songs are eternal in that when you hear them you're suddenly 15 again!!!
(well that's how it is for me!!!)

Well most of what I would say about band songs has been covered. Village People and The Cure being the prime ones.
Anyone know Scott Walker?
He was affiliated with The Doors for a bit.
A couple of Beatles songs, Love Me Do, Walmart, errr I mean Walrus thingy, and one or two others

I can only be bothered with detail on the timeless old techno and hardcore tracks really.
Some Jilted Generation tracks are timeless.... what's that track with the racing car noises in it? Luuurrrvve that one
Yeah, Human Resource's 'DOMINATOR'!!! Gets my heart pumping and turns my adrenal gland inside out when I crank that up in the car
