I think a lot of this apparent problem (I don't see it as problem tbh) comes from people having totally opposite opinions & somehow thinking they are going to change the other's opinion through a few internet links or some typing on a forum when these are opinions that have been formed over decades eg the queen, capitalism etc.

It's not like people are arguing over whether 2+2=3 is correct or not.

I'm not into all this "clique" chat. It's a load of shite imo. It's like a child greeting about the other kids picking on them. Surely we're all old enough for that not to be an issue? Particularly when it's just text on a screen.

As I said to you, I have a very close friend who is a Jehovah's Witness, I don't dislike you because of your beliefs. I don't care either way, your style is what grates on me so much.

How have you come to the conclusion that I have spent years only interacting with people identical to myself?

And you know you're in a little circle jerking club with SHM and Sam, there's no denying it. The Guardian is just wank material to fuel the fapping frenzy.

Well if we take the Queen as an example, the way I would expect a debate to go is as follows: "I dislike the Queen because of x", I then proceed to refute 'x' (usually the cost to the tax payer), that person then doesn't have that issue with the Queen. That's just logical. If someone could post me up a link that showed we were spending money on her hand over fist, and that we didn't make anything on her whatsoever, i'd personally boot her off her throne myself. You would hope that we were too old for the cliqueness, but when the same characters back up the same characters time after time, and applaud each other, it can't be described as anything but a clique.

I wasn't trying to have a barney with you at first, I was simply saying "You may mistakenly think I am being aggressive because of the way I talk". I would greet one of my best mates along the lines of "Alright ya fuckin' bawbag? Where'd you get that coat from, yer gran? You look like a fucking moron mate" Translation - "Hi there my friend."

re the rest that I didn't quote. Aye, that's fair enough. I just meant that people seem to think they are going to easily change someone else's deep-set opinions & get annoyed when the other persons opinion doesn't change.

You've shown me that the queen's family don't cost as much as I thought (if those figures are to believed/cover everything). I still think "Fuck them". Ahh well...

Please can you try and be at least vaguely transparent. Saying you don't like my style is absolutely useless and unconstructive in resolving any issues. Say what it is about my style with some sort of depth.

I don't see you taking exception to anyone elses style who agrees with you, which leads me to believe it is more about content than it is about style. Which can only leave me with the conclusion I have come to.

I hate to say this, as it comes across as ludicrously arrogant, but I think my level of intelligence is far higher than yours. Hence there being no point in me engaging in conversations with you, you misinterpret or completely fucking miss the point far too often for it to be worthwhile.

No, I've never said that, it's one of your favourite taglines, you expect to change everyone's opinion, or my opinion at least, because you shout a few facts, and you can't see how anyone could disagree with your facts.

Like anyone I get the instinct that I dislike someone, but I always override it and I have never let it stop me from associating or interacting with someone. I hate people who do that. They are the worst sort of people in my opinion. My initial assumation of an issue is based on intuition, but I rarely bother to state that opinion because it is worthless and baseless because my opinion means nothing to anyone else. The only truely coherent way to go about solving an issue or making a conclusion is to look at the facts and figures and go from there.

When you say I think I know it all, it is implied that I am unopen to changing my opinion. I can see how someone can disagree with my facts if they have another set of facts, otherwise how is that possible? They are just basing it entirely on emotion, which is stupid and no way to run any sort of society. And, if you wouldn't mind stating explicitly what it is about my style you dislike - other than the fact that it disagrees with you, that would be much appreciated.
