soapbar hash........i like it whos with me

Soapbars all good when you've no money for the first hour or two, then the shitty short-lived high, headache and black smoggy toke just doesn't cut it anymore. Always end up with more than I want by the end of it.

Wouldn't say no to a pipe of it though. Terrible for hot rocks in joints though.

See a few hits in a pipe and your red eyed and blithering its fun (now and again)..........street weed ain't properly cured cut too early and damp that's what makes you feel paranoid you need the trichs to mature cloudy/amber that's when it is truly enjoyable.......I'm still a sucker for a bit of soap and I DONT CARE :):)
 
It's the THC content of bud that causes paranoia, not the moisture content.
Infact with it being moist it won't be as potent due to the the "oils" of THC and CBN not being dry so....
Well, long story short, you need cured, dry bud.

But with this "super skunk" the % of THC is huge and doesn't have the amount of CBN that comes with it to offset the paranoia.
THC = The general high, the body feeling and paranoia.
CBN = Has Antipsychotic properties to offset the latter's effect.
 
I could be wrong but I think what mickeyfinn was alluding to was that a lot of weed on the street is cut too early: a lot of people claim that by leaving it a bit for most of the trichs to turn amber there is a higher amount of CBD relative to THC, producing more of an indica type high. Obviously genetics have more to do with it than anything else but a lot of street weed is often cut too early. Got some the other day (cheap) where the pistils were almost all still white on it, weed should at least all be left until they have all gone amber no?
 
Clear is best for me; amber trichome heads will tend to CBN/CBD content more predominant; fat and crystal clear, just before they go amber is peak THC...

Cloudy is too early.

Was always the cloudy/amber stage when i'd pull, clear is the first stage before the thc fully develops
 
lol, i remember everyone disagreeing about this forever when I was on a growers forum now =D (It was a bit like the MDMA/MDEA?MDMAhead threads a couple of years ago about the new pills)

I think the eventual thing we agreed on is that all strains are different and even differing plants from the same strain were different.

I know I used my little watchmakers loupe for a couple of harvests, probably more, and then decided it was easier to just go by the way the buds looked, as you'd have some buds on the plant at amber, some cloudy, some clear, all different sized trichomes etc...

The last one I used to inspect though, had small blobs which were cloudy, then they'd swell like a mushroom cloud and go crystal clear, and then maybe orange/red...but i tried not to let tem go that far...

Tbh yer right, go by the way the pistils are shriveling int he calyx's(sp?) man i had one plant that we fed lots of molasses too n it would ooze this amber goo from its thc glands, like the heads all burst, but yeah for me they always start off small n clear, then get big n swollen n cloudy, then sorta recede n go amber or red/brown/gold etc

yep.

I used to get obsessive about it for a while. As you do. ;) .

But you just know by looking at the whole plant when it's ready..... I had a mate lived near me who was even more obsessive than me, used to get me round, or bring little bits of bud round for us to insepct....spent hours peering at differnt little sections under his scope, every single bit looking different, every single bit with some cloudy, some clear, some maybe going amber....

Step Back! Look at the whole plant, smell the oils, the depth of the smell and everything is a better guide even I think than obsessing about trichome colour...

n yeah man, pretty much that, look at the whole thing, i used to take plants in bits so that the lower branches would mature, like all main centre cola's taken n then lower lights.
 
lol, i grew a couple of plants where the bottom buds would mature first, and the main cola take another week or two, still packing on for that final 10 days or so =D

Anyway.

tis funny how diff strains grew, man had this one landrace sativa that never stopped growing, it was still half vegging while the buds were maturing,we managed to leave it like 3/4months in flower lol, it was fucking humongous, had to lob limbs that had matured as the rest was still going, got pissed off with it tho n killed it, im sure had it been regularly fed n kept under 12/12 it woulda been a never ending plant lol, but wasn't the nicest so was mainly sold or turned into bubble/bho/iso etc

And no, no it's not
 
had a sativa phenotype emerge from a backcross selection, that took 14 weeks to finish. aside from a very very rare pure sat thats about the best youre going to get over here


not economically viable though, never cloned it :(

oh yeah, soapbar ftw

I grew out some very nearly pure sats from very old genetics once, used to put the clones into flower at 2 inches, would go about 14 weeks and finish at 4-5ft tall......packed about 16-25 plants into a space 2.5ftx2.5ft

really good smoke, yielded well too as long as you had the patience to wait....

Anyway...

WHAT'S EVERYONES FAVOURITE SOAPBAR STAMP????
 
Stuff I smoked t'other night which was probably soap (but would probably be sold as "pollen" round here due to lack of placcy bags) apparently had a VW stamp. Can't say it was the nicest thing I've ever smoked but the fella got it dirt cheap and didn't want to part with any of the nice bud he also had in which cost a bleedin' fortune so beggars/choosers and all that. I did get a spliff's worth of bud though. Was very pleasant smoke. Kush apparently. Didn't say which kinda Kush but he certainly paid top dollar for it 8o
 
i use to get thro 2-3k a week of 'soap bar' many moons ago but it was called that cos it looked like a bar of soap and it was proper good hash in 100g bars. But i know of soap that use to come in to the UK go out to NL then back to uk after being stamped on with mango juice, engine oil, mud etc etc. Like everything else its who you know.

Im off to agadir this summer so looking forward to some nice smoke - havent been to morroco for 20 years or so when i spent a few weeks in the mountains where there are miles and miles of dope plants and you find yer farmer and make yer oil but thats another story.
 
ah going to buy a bar of chocolate, getting holes in all of my best t shirts and tracky bottoms, burning to soften, finding pieces of plastic inside, being told leave it on the radiator and dont use the microwave to soften as it will remove all of teh good stuff

good old days =D
