To be honest I've smoked a lot of bud and hash I've got to say I like soap not the rancid crusty shit but the well made stuff BTW I'm 35 and know my stuff but I'm a sucker for a bar of nice "clean" soap.........discuss :)
 
soapbar is horrible, dodgy stuff, and a world away from proper hash. I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

You're confused Ben. mickeyfinn79 is on about the well-made soap, you know like the HellyHansen stamp one, that's well nice that.
 
if you google 'making soapbar in yorkshire' theres an article somewhere that was in redeye express years ago, showing how they made soapbar. It's disgusting.

I generally avoid hash now as the stuff sold as Moroccan or Afhani is always dire and just leaves a fuzzy headache feeling more than anything else.

Soapbar afaik isn't smoked by anyone over the age of 13.
 
Come on you've never enjoyed a bit of it not even in the younger years lol........I know it'd bad for ya but so was sniffing glue or gas but that didn't stop people did it?......I don't buy shit street weed I'm self sufficient in that aspect (growing out a nice bit of church at present)....as for the acid my friends uncles mother copped a fair few sheets (Shiva BTW can also get Hoffman's) done 4 for the first time in 20 years and nearly ended up in the nut house he just wants rid of them and £1.50 is mates rates.........you know you all love a cheeky bit of soap ;)

Whats everyone's favourite soapbar stamp, past or present?

(mine were the aforementioned HelleyHansen bar =D , was about the same time as Mitsubishi bar =D, I kid you not on either of those, was when soap had dropped to £200 a bar in Coventry, about 10 years ag)
 
Ah ha a man who knows his soap t.o.p number 1 and a fish in a box all good stamps too.........I'm not at it I just know the subject of soap always gets a good discussion going lol......and yes I'm an old school Junglist......put up your lighta inna de air!!!!!!!!! Lol
 
Hey everybody, get this - not ALL soapbar is shit! As far as I'm concerned, soapbar is like rice - cheap & plentiful, if somewhat bland and tasteless, but it (usually) does the job and is a staple diet for many. 'Soapbar' is so named because of the shape of the nine oz bars - it's not an automatic indicator of quality because anything can be pressed into that shape. Decent soapbar is a nice, functional smoke that doesn't pin you to the floor. Sure, there's better stuff out there, but I see soapbar as the 90's equivalent of the old Red Lebanese from the 70's. It seems to have gained a bad reputation among the (mainly) younger smokers because there really has been some shocking stuff around in the last couple of decades, but by far the worst offenders as far as I'm concerned were the fake gold seal black and the plastic filled 'formula' stuff - these were just WRONG!! The trouble with kids today is that they've been spoiled by the fancy Dutch & American strains brought about by the hydroponics revolution - even 'good' hash can seem weak by comparison to these. It all just boils down to the fact that some people prefer 'weed', while others prefer 'hash' - but there are good and bad versions of both (remember, anything can be cut).
