So Who Likes Benzos? Ver III: Blackouts and Amnesia

Quick question, dumped 4 tamazepam after smoking a good point last night at 10 pm. It was too dark but the normisons were orangey pink any know how strong they and compare to Valium 5 mg?
 
Normison brand Temazepam are 10mg per tablet. The Temazepam is a hypnotic benzo as opposed to Diazepam which is anxiolytic.
 
So I had 40mg temazepam. I actually feel good now as the comedown was starting to kick in real hard and I just seem to come down harder these days in general. I just hope they last as long as Valium as the ice was top quality and I could still be feeling shit tonight if it wears off. Oh well plenty of vodka and weed later this arvo should but me in a good place. Thank god not working, I just really feel these days whereas in my early twenties could crack a twelve hour shift with no sleep or benzo relatively easy. I guess the depression anxiety can get worse with years of occasional to regular use.
 
Most benzo conversion charts will list 10mg temaze as about equal to 5mg diazepam off the top of my head. In my opinion that is about accurate but the main difference between the two drugs in my experience is that while temaze hits a fair bit harder when you are talking about a decent dose, more moderate doses aren't quite so easy to appreciate as they are with a benzo like diazepam. It just lacks subtle effects.

Any benzo is better than nothing for a comedown but you might come to find temazepam is pretty short acting. I hope you got some more just in case. ;)

i don't really like to quote myself but... i managed to do well in the speech with no drugs! thats like a first for 2 years haha
regardless, im picking up a new 50mg this arvo but will prob try my next speech without aswell...
im beginning to think its an awful drug for anxiety and only should be used for panic attacks... and occasionally for relaxing... ;)

I like how it compares alprazolam .5-1mg as about equal to 5mg diaz. Maybe its just my tolerance but I dont think that 1mg xanax feels like 10mg valium.

On a related note, goddam it Im completely out of benzos. Was finding it really hard to return to baseline after using dex for study without a couple (or so) mg xanax. Really need to see about getting another temaz script.
 
Didn't realise how fucked my tolerance actually is. This valium 50 pack are going A LOT quicker than I thought. 40mg-50mg seems to get me through a work day, might have to go back to Clon til my new script comes through. Tolerance is a fucking bitch.
 
Everyone enjoy the stronger benzo's whilst you still can, Alprazolam/Clonazepam/Lorazepam and a few others are being made S8. So they should be but its bad news for people with a tolerance. 50x2mg Xanax makes me wonky, thats it, so im glad the shit is being made harder to get. Xanax namely is one fucked up substance.

Yeah 50 x5mg vals wont last long. Thats only 25x10mg FFS! (yay math!).

I mean fuck if you gotta use min 20mg youll prob get a week and a half out of the packet of 50.

Have you got a source for that information? I receive all updates on the SUSMP from the TGA and also receive notices for public comment on proposed changes to scheduling, and so far this year there has been nothing regarding making these substances S8 under the SUSMP.

Perhaps a state may be deciding to change their scheduling of benzodiazepines; some states already treat benzodiazepines almost as if they were S8 drugs.
 
Pretty sure this has been bought up before somewhere in this forum, but I can't remember what the response was.

Are there any complications with; eating a benzo, and then smoking meth just before or just as its kicked in?
 
^ It is probably less healthy than using either drug on its own, good chance that it places a mildly greater strain on the heart. I have done it more times than I could count and generally do prefer the feeling, when I get the dose right, to just using meth on its own.

Yeah, I took benzos on the comedown of ecstasy and meth for a few years and it always seemed to help with recovery but I can't be sure if it was doing damage as it generally always let me sleep, therefore I felt better short-term. Perhaps there was damage to my heart etc, but I won't know until many years down the track when long-term effects may show themselves, I don't know. Currently I'm of the belief that I've escaped any permanent damage.

In general I feel that benzos are extremely helpful if used responsibly for the right cirumstances. But if you abuse them and become dependant it will send you to hell on earth.
 
Yep. Benzo's can be a godsend when helping to cope with comedowns, especially with meth for me personally. But we're talking more about mixing benzo's and methamphetamine at the exact same time to experience the synergy effect from when the two substances are combined and can be felt simultaneously.
I've already put myself through a fairly minor opiate withdrawal, and that was more than enough to teach myself a lesson, never ever to abuse opiates again let alone benzo's.. that opiate withdrawal was one of the most horrible experiences of my life! After that, I swore to myself that I would never to go down that roady again! :(

haha the benzo thread has alot of inane chatter. always get people coming on here when they are on benzos and writing shit they dont remember the next day.

I am traveling currently, and in many of the countries it is easy to get xanax, valium (10mg) and klonopin over the counter.

I have been using them for less recreational purposes though. Such as when I have a coke comedown. I find now that I dont have anxiety issues, benzos are of little benefit recreationally.

Hahaha! I believe that happened with me just the other night. Was also the first time that i've ever had some form of memory loss/been in a semi-conscience state after ingesting a benzo and staying up when the plan WAS to get a bit of shut eye. Kinda frustrating too seeing that i only took 1.5mg of xanax.. but was also coming down from a high so that might had some effect lol.
