Can vouch for the notion that alprazolam taken before codeine seems to blunt the high. Took a couple xans a few hours before sitting down to watch a movie and have some codeine. 560mg codeine didnt hit me anywahere near as much as expected. And its been over 48hrs since I last had any so I was expecting more.
Yeah I hate this. I've made this mistake two... no, three times now. Twice with codeine and once with oxycodone. Dosing alprazolam before and being under the influence of it when the opioid hits just blunts the high and each time I kick myself for it.

So the general concensus is that lorazepam has more recreation value than diazepam? Of is that just a Mr. Blonde thing?
Belarki seemed to like it too.
Preference is a personal thing of course, and as I've said the reason I liked lorazepam is that it has muscle relaxant qualities that I thought were better then diazepam, and I almost found the lorazepam itself to be almost euphoric which I don't really get from diazepam. Both are very relaxing of course, and I do like diazepam as well.
I don't like alprazolam that much, but I have access to it at the moment so I've been using it. My tolerance to it has been rising, and it's amnesiac properties can be problematic. In fact, I will share with you all a cautionary tale:
On Wednesday night I used some alprazolam, then some oxycodone, drank some alcohol (I don't drink often) and then had MXE via the IM route. I went home, feeling very out of it and nodding out. Went to bed, then apparently started having convulsions, myoclonic jerks and my teeth were apparently smashing together so hard my girlfriend was worried I was going to shatter them. My breathing was then very low as well, so she threw water in my face and shook me and after half an hour I gained consciousness and then spent half and hour sitting on the toilet trying to urinate while she was in tears about my state. I don't remember a thing though. I just woke up with a headache and found out my girlfriend had called in sick to work for me as obviously I was in no position to go.
So there you go, be careful with poly-drug use. I should have known better then to mix all that, but I've been making some bad choices lately.
