Hahahaaa.

Flunitrazepam is the bomb. I got it here (Australia) in a bottle of 30's, strength 1 mg. I had somewhat of a tolerance to benzos at that time (still do :( ), but umm, it's not like a motherfucking date rape drug ay loulou...it's more of a nice, clean benzo, forgive the terminology, 'high' wouldn't ya agree? Nitrazepam...is okay. Clonazepam is what I'm currently dependent on. At first, it was like 2 mg would get me in a nice relaxed place, but then dosage escalated and umm, it takes me a fuckload of pills to even get the anti-anxiety effects from it.

God damn, I really want to go back in time to try an American drug called 'Desbutal'. it had in it pentobarbitol with desoxyephedrine (methamphetamine) :))))))))))....Goddamnit, those were the Golden Days of Drugs. the 1950's.

round here, im lucky to score some pseudoephedrine and some dihydrocodeine over the counter...:(

times are changing for the worse..
 
is there much difference in effects between barbs and benzos?

Also is it safe it mix benzos. say combine tamaz with valium or something like that?

Psy, you can bet ya bottom dollar that it's safe to mix benzo's.

And phenobarbitone was disgusting. Ewww! But apart from the good ones over there in the USA, secobarbitol, pentobarbitol, Tuinals....i'd probably say that barbs would mos def knock you own your arse quicker than any benzo would + would lead on to more aggressive/reckless behaviour which could land one in the morgue or a prison cell..............

Hi all, I am soon to be in possession of four tablets of Valium. As I don't have them yet, I am assuming they are 10mg as they were acquired from the local zoo to sedate a sick and angry tiger. Could be stronger maybe but not quite sure yet? Are tablets higher than 10mg available in Australia?

What is a safe dose of Valium to combine with 600mgs of codeine? Of recently I have been using around that much codeine around once a week for a few weeks. Before that I haven't touched any codeine for well over 8 months. Never tried any benzos in my life so tolerance to the Valium is not an issue.

Should I reduce the codeine dose since I'm adding Valium to the mix? Could I have a beer or two on this combo? Thanks for the help guys :D
 
^ 600mg codeine is a bit too much, I'd start with 400mg.

And I'd add 10mg of Valium to the codeine. Start low, work your way up if it's not enough. But it will be enough if you have no tolerance.

Thanks very much! :) What would be a suitable time line for dosing to maximize the synergy between the two substances? Codeine for me, I can begin to feel effects around the half an hour mark with peaking around the hour mark.

I am not familiar with Valium effects' onset or peak so any suggestions greatly appreciated! =D
 
Valium hits pretty quickly 10 to 20 minutes for me. Effects should peak 30-40 minutes. It is a very long lasting benzo too.

I would be very careful with this combo. Though you shouldn't have problems with 10mg, I recommend you trying 10mg of valium just by itself to get a feel for the drug before you combine it. If you do combine keep the valium levels low, and I wou;dn't recommend that amount of codeine, 300-400mg is alot safer. Even lower might be a good idea. The two drugs synergise very well together so you need less of each. However, opiates and benzos are a very dangerous mix due to their ability to cause heavy sedation, blackouts (which can lead to excessive redosing) and depressed breathing. More of problem with heavier opiates though.

don't drink on it either. Thats just asking for all the above problems and more. Benzos and booze are not a good mix. they can cause blackouts after a few beers, plus can make alot of people very sloppy or violent.
 
I like to dose my diazepam (valium) half an hour to an hour before taking codeine. I think you will enjoy the combination, diazepam adds a little sedation and I find its muscle relaxant properties synergise extremely well with codeines body high.

I would concur with lou's reccomendation of 10mg for a first time in conjunction with codeine. Although I would say if you are experienced with codeine and are used to using 600mg then I would not bother reducing the codeine dose unless it usually has you nodding uncontrollably. If you are getting 4 tablets though I see no reason not to try the benzo on it's own first, for this I would reccomend 20mg.

As you are unfamiliar with benzo's effects, which can be subtle at times, I think you would probably feel less high off of 10mg diazepam and 400mg codeine than 600mg codeine straight out with no diazepam.

Do not drink the first time you try this, depressants all potentiate eachother so the first time you are trying a combo like this leave the alcohol out of it. Alcohol mixed with benzo's in particular often leads to blackouts and stupid behaviour. Alcohol, benzo's and opiates used together can easily cause death.

If you try the codeine with valium and don't get ridiculously high from it then you could get away with a beer or two next time, but do not exceed that. If you do drink with codeine at any time I reccomend you do it prior to consuming the codeine as alcohol is a mild CYP2D6 inducer.

Be careful you don't over do it dude, and get 100% clarification on the strength of those pills before you take any. 10mg valium tablets aren't available in Australia for human use and it would kind of surprise me if they had them for animals but not people. I would honestly consider it a reasonable possibility that you will recieve a stronger benzo than valium/diazepam given that it is used to sedate tigers, which are a large animal and valium is quite a weak benzo. Make 100% sure it is diazepam and if it is something else then get the name of the drug.

A good friend of mines dad was given clonazepam/rivotril for RLS and told by his doctor it was valium. Most people when explaining benzodiazepines to those not in the know will use valium as a point of comparison because most people have heard of valium, this sometimes leads to confusion where people believe whatever benzo they are in possession of is valium.

That sounds like very good advice! While I'm here I just wanted to ask, how long in between Valium doses should I wait to minimize the tolerance?

@ Drug_Mentor: Also more great advice there! Yeah I have confirmed that they are definitely Diazepam, the dosage is still unknown though. They are still in their blister packs I am pretty sure and you are probably right about them not being 10mg in that case. I am picking them up this week and will check in and let you know all the info :) The reason I am using them in conjunction with with Codeine is because I only have four and I am trying to make them last hehe. Not sure when they will find their way to me again!

I have no idea what type of diazepam that comes in any form to do with animals.
I thought diazepam generally wasn't used on most animals. It makes dogs hyper so they use phenobarbitol, thats all I've been told from a vet a few years ago.

There is only 5mg and 2mg diazepam available in pill form from australia chemists using registered brands for australia. Any 10mg one you see used for humans is usually blue and have Roche 10 on the pill. Unless it is american which the brand version of valium is blue with a V cut out in the middle for the V logo. I like to stick to real Roche. not asian roche which are 905 chance pressed in some dudes shed with lower mg of diazepam and no quality control.
 
So i picked up my Valium, only ended up getting one because the remainder of the tablets were crushed and covered in crocodile food from being kept in the zoo's freezer... Oh well traded my old injectors from my commie for it so fair trade I think :)

It's a Roche brand one sealed in its blister pack and is indeed 5mg... Ingested about 600-620mg of codeine about 20 minutes ago and just dumped the Valium then. I think it's going to be a great night! Thanks very much everyone's help! :)
 
yeah 5mg is a light thereauptic dose for insomnia and anxiety, if you took it by itself it would probably only get you a little relaxed.

getting your drugs laced with crocodile food (is it getting your crocodile food laced with drugs?!?!) has got to be the strangest way I have ever head anyone given drugs before. What kind of food was it?
 
^ I forgot to ask. Please ask your mate why the crocodile needs valium? It must be one angry fucking crocodile.

Hehehe, my friend is doing an apprenticeship in zoology at a crocodile farm up here, which farms them for food and for their leather. This farm also doubles as a zoo with everything from primates to large cats such as lions and tigers! It's pretty awesome I get to go behind the scenes and help her feed the big cats sometimes =D

The Diazepam was being used to sedate a sick and angry tiger I am pretty sure... It was being stored in the cool room that keeps all the food for the crocodile farm section. They just had a big clean out of it and she informed me she threw out a whole packet of Valium in the bin because they didn't need it anymore... I almost cried and she salvaged one out of four tablets that were lying around the cool room... The rest were tainted with crocodile food as the blisters were split open :(

I am pretty sure they feed the crocodiles horse meat as it is lean and healthy for the crocs so they can make wallets and bags out of them! Sorry for getting off topic! But pretty cool story none the less :)

I had this happen after i downloading all the seasons of Arrested Development. I got nearly to the end of the episode and then realised I had watched it the night before after a few benzos.
 
lol! One of my favourite side-effects of benzos was being able to watch fantastic movies/series several times, with each time being like the first time I had seen it :D Good times.

Doesn't always go to plan though as you can end up forgetting half the movie while still watching it, and have to rewind it to know what the fuck is going on.
 
is it possible to experience withdrawals from xanax use of say 2mg once a week on and off for a few months?

trying to eliminate variables in my sleeping issues and what not.
