a friend was watchn the news and this story came on about spice, this legal high stuff you can buy at shops. so i thought id order some since i hadnt smokt in 4-5 yers and after 2 hours the feeling is still kickn in. will see how it goes cause if its like this then i wouldnt mind actually buyn more before they ban it lol. £5 more then the real stuff hahaha, crazy

anyone tried it or gonna?

I've used it. It's really good shit. Significantly longer duration than weed. They found out that it actually has some synthetic cannabinoid in it, I think it was one of the JWH series.

Don't trust the deniers!

There are one or two sites from within the US that sell it if my memory serves correctly. I haven't ordered it since last year.

It contains JHW-018 if Im not mistaken. Its picking up more and more attention so you know its not going to remain available for long.

I havent tried it and dont plan on it.

I accidently washed a 3g packet that was in my pants pocket.

But, before that, a friend (haha really, not me) had to quit for college ROTC and I let him try it a month after he quit. He left without much of a buzz, called me 10 minutes later to say "HIGH" from Mars. Seriously, he said it was awesome.

I wish I had tried it before I washed it.

I've definitely noticed a "delayed" effect with this. (Takes minutes to kick in, even when smoked).

I'd caution people to take it slowly because otherwise it can hit you like a train.

Yet, salvia is not a federally controlled drug. See the pattern here? Nor is 2C-E or 2C-I or 5-MeO-DMT and I can keep on listing if you want me to.

Interesting...

Where does one obtain this stuff? Is it perfectly legal as in walk down the street smoking a joint, blow smoke in a cops face, walk away laughing about it?

(Not that I'd ever do that, lol, just makin' a funny :P )

Actually, the only thing that won't be around long is spice name brand and all the spice wannabies. Once you get a source on a "blend" then your set. The right kind can be amazing. Even when JWH-018 is sched., they cannot ban every random blend on the internet.

i saw this story on it and lke it said it has synthetic THC in it. But the company got in trouble for having it since its illegal and they didnt list it as an ingredient, so its probly comin off the market soon.

So what im sayin is that if the DEA wants, I want it.

1. It doesn't contain synthetic THC. It contains a synthetic cannabinoid structurally unrelated to THC.

2. Only one of the suspected cannabinoids (which may or may not even be in it) is actually illegal.

3. Its sales are still up even within the US, so I think we're good.

States are banning salvia one by one. And the research chemicals you mentioned can be deemed illegal under the federal analog act. (as can jhw-018 I believe)

If it's the stuff with JHW-018, then it's actually pretty good. The kind of good where you're like "How is this stuff legal?"

The trick to smoking it is to hold each lungful in for at least 5 seconds.

Actually, CP 47,497 (or more specifically, the 1,1-dimethyloctyl homologue of it) was announced to be the main ingredient in Spice by the University of Freiburg in Germany that performed a chemical analysis on it. I think they were referring to the standard Spice/Spice Silver. Other products are said to contain the cannabinoids in different proportions, some newer products are indeed said to include JWH-018 as their main active ingredient. I remember seeing more detailed results of the German analysis somewhere, but am too lazy to look it up at the moment.

You are correct about your second point. The only report so far regarding Spice products containing HU-210 came from DEA, and these results have not been confirmed by an independent party yet. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it turned out just to be yet another hoax to provide a convenient opportunity for the DEA to jump on yet another (so far) legal high. Look, it contains an illegal drug, it is therefore also illegal! 8)

Anyway, I noticed that there has not been a mention of specific Spice products (Gold, Diamond, Tropical Synergy, Arctic Synergy, etc) in this thread, does this mean that you guys are speaking of the original Spice (ie Spice Silver)? Because from what I understand, the effects can vary greatly from one product to another (mainly due to different compositions of cannabinoids within the products). Then again, I have heard rumors that even same products can have different cannabinoid compositions between batches, as if the makers of Spice would simply use what chemials they have in stock at the moment to infuse the herbs with, and essentially there would be no actual difference between different products other than packaging and herb content, although personally I will remain skeptical about this theory until I've seen some proof.

There is some discussion regarding how different Spice products compare to one another in BDD, in this thread. I have also written up some thoughts on my initial experience with Spice, more specifically with the Arctic Synergy variety, in that thread, in case anyone's interested.
