Wtf? "I'm so stupid I just bought 500mg of heroin"

Just stop trying to be a dope head. I'm not trying to be a dick but stop acting like you can't help yourself from buying heroin after you did it once you just sound so stupid

No need to be an asshole.

He does not sound stupid. He sounds like someone with a problem who needs compassion and understanding, not your ignorant and uninformed put downs.

You're already addicted.

I had a thread like this.

In 3 months you'll be posting in a thread like this, telling someone they don't yet understand how bad of an idea heroin is.

There's a reason that nobody, NOBODY ever says it's an alright idea on here.

Props to you for keeping your thread updated though, it's healthy for you and we'd like to see how you do.

Not me...I'm already about 95% sure of how this will end up. I think this is a young kid..maybe anywhere from 14 to 17 years old whose life is gonna go down that road...

Still only a young one, still at school. Yet you are risking the rest of your life being a junky, such a waste.

Realise something the young junkys by themselves often get fucked over due to naivety. Expect a steep learning curve, which has already started.

Maybe he needs a little reverse psychology? Here, I'd say just do it, you probably are going to accomplish little to nothing in your life anyway, so its not really a big deal if you become a junkie. Might as well at least feel good while being a blunt of society, aye mate?

Lmfao you think he has a problem after doing dope once? He doesn't need compassion and understanding he needs to get real and stop doing dope before he actually does have a problem with it

Also ignorant and uninformed put downs? I was him a year and a half ago, trying heroin before doing any other opiates and im still doing heroin now. I think I'm more informed on this matter than you think. He's striving to become a junkie and you wanna give him compassion and try to understand what he's doing? No he IS being stupid, there's really no other way around it. Striving to become a junkie is not a wise move an he'll realize how stupid he's being a couple years from now when he's lost friends, his family's trust, most of his possessions and is shitting his pants waiting for his dealer to call back.

For real. I was away from computers for a few days and I hop on and I see this thread has 3 more pages. I say to myself, it must just be more people reminising about how much they never wished they tried opiates. Instead, much to my chagrin, I find that he has already reached step 3 in my 20 steps to becoming a junkie... He's already buying more cause it's "not THAT addictive." Not only have you already jeapordized your life by trying heroin, but your life has already been negativley affected. Your math teacher is not an idiot, a few more times acting like that and you'll have your first slap in the face... and what are you going to do when that happens, DO MORE HEROIN...

Time for the friendly advice from all of us to end at this point. OP has already jumped into addiction head first and only his world collapsing around him will save him. To be honest, I hope it happens sooner rather than later. It sucks, but it's the only way for him to lead a somewhat normal life as a young man (or woman).

Good luck SoonAJunkie... May your path be fraught with danger and your nights cold and dark. Only then shall you see the light... (in a poetic way, not a religious way)

The beginner's mistake is thinking H is okay, as long as you don't get addicted.

So you try it. Think it's meh, maybe pretty alright. But not THAT great. So you're not hooked, you try it a second time.

And then two weeks later, it's been a while, and you totally don't even like it THAT much. So you try it again.

Now how long do I have to wait until I do it next to make sure I'm not addicted? (eg. what's the soonest I can take this again?)

Every other weekend isn't THAT often, right?

etc, etc. It's not until you already are, that you realize you're becoming a junkie faggot. (please excuse the satirical slurs!)

You end up doing it as much as you can without becoming addicted, which is the addict's way of fooling himself into thinking he's not addicted.

Everybody is right, the noob heroin user is wrong. It's almost cheap to say that it won't take long for him to find out if he doesn't put the brakes on HARD.

There is one important point that most inexperience users don't understand,

The physical withdraw and addictions are nothing compared to the mental addiction!

And the mental starts lurking with the first time you want more, even if it is one shot for "fun" times sake, we are convinced its worth the risks

kickin heroin (physical WD) is the easy part, its the incredibly powerful mental impulse and obsession to use opiates or heroin, mental is the real reason why people don't quit opiates, its very hard to deal with life on lifes terms when u just get past heroin WD if ur not in a rehab setting, so mentally we fall back weak in our own addictive thinking (im only speaking for us addict that understand)

^yes that is true, and acute w/d is the "easy part" to get through in staying clean...But it is by no means easy, it is the worst days of your life. But you know it will be over and you can kind of make it a challenge, also you can get banged up on benzos and weed and its doable (well thats what I do). But the days after days of trying to not crawl back to opiates is the real struggle, our minds are programmed to remind how great they were, not how much pain they caused.

And TCMVegas, have to agree with others, that is hilarious.

Very true. After a period of time clean (not even much time) it's very easy for you to forget just how bad things can get or how brutal the withdrawal was, and convince yourself that it's worth it to use again. That's addiction for you. It really is insanity.
