Why? I imagine there are a lot of people that are sensitive about elective irreversible procedures being done to them without their consent.

I get chewed out by mothers because I let my 10 and 6 yr old cross the road in front of my place and go play in the park by themselves. Mothers are a self righteous bunch of book fed know it alls. Life is unfair, every body will hate their parents for something unfair at least once in their lives so you may as well make it count. If that means my son dumps me in an old peoples home and feeds me cat food because I loped off his foreskin so be it. I have taken a minute to think about it and I honestly just feel that it’s unfair towards women. Unfortunately they don’t get to experience the joys of circumcision(not talking about clitoral, just labia). Until circumcision for women is legal in the US I feel that I would be a hypocrite for supporting male circumcision.
Mark my words though, as soon as female circumcision is legal, my wife and I will be first in line for some snipsnip action. I am even going to preserve my foreskin in a little bottle.

They can still have their labia trimmed, it's called labiaplasty. Female circumcision culturally is performed to reduce sexual pleasure in women by removing all or part of the clitoris and is generally accepted as being performed from a position of male dominated power in societies that frown on female sexual enjoyment. No one can seriously argue that male circumcision is performed for the same reasons, and given the fact that a lot of women prefer a trimmed cock it could be argued that its is for the completely opposite reason. If we were to perform the same procedure like for like it would involve the removal of the entire glans or helmet.

That was my understanding too. I can state from experience of having had one at 30 that I personally found no change in sexual pleasure, however any unnecessary permanent operation that changes this for a female I find totally abhorrent.
I was talking about labia only, not doing it to reduce pleasure. I wasn't aware parents could bring their baby daughters to have their labia cut off for cosmetic reasons, now that I know that I can support circumcision. Now i must make good on my side of the bargain and will sign up for the snipsnip tonight.
Seriously though, i am going to ask my wife what she prefers tonight. I don't think that question has ever come up during our relationship. Best case scenario.. she likes it uncut. Worst case scenario, she has hated my cock all this time and makes me go through with it.

it is my understanding that circumcision in males has remained popular because it removes over thirty percent of the sexual nerve endings, has been claimed to reduce masturbation and certainly decreases pleasure and decreases a males ability to enjoy sex with a condom and because of this has enjoyed a long religious backing. really an all knowing being that supposedly created us, but intentionally left a pleasure rich portion there that needed to be takn off??? yeah a circumcised penis may look better to you but is crazy unnatural, i'm surprised that some of you think it looks or tastes gross as it has such similarity to a vagina, hmmm...

I had it done through necessity when I was 30 and can categorically state that sex before and after has not changed and feels just as good, not that I'm promoting the practice but the concept that it destroy's sexual desire or the need to masturbate etc in my experience is totally and utterly incorrect and unlike the vast majority of males, I've had sex before and after a circumcision so am speaking with personal experience. Also to DOB I don't agree that rape is not permanent, the damage is psychological and I know women who have been and it stays with them for ever.
