Had a CCF related pub lunch snoo t'other day (was lush! <3) and a family snoo at the weekend (met my baby cousin and tortoises :D) - had a very up and down-y few weeks but most definitely more ups than downs currently, despite some pretty major downs, which makes a nice change :)
 
Aw man, pub lunches are the best! That's what I'm definitely gonna miss over summer, going for dinner at the pub with me housemates <3

edit: ex housemates :( I even miss the bastardy one
 
It's been a bad week, and for the first time in ages (months anyhow) I'm going to run out of weed before I get paid, without having enough cash to get any more and still be able to get to work, let alone eat.

In addition to this I've been reducing my alcohol intake and the other week ran out of benzos. So it's safe to say the next few days looked a bit bleak. Friends will help me out with dinner and things later on in the week, but it was more or less a given that today was going to be shite. Expectations were low to say the least.

This morning I was thinking how lovely it would be to just find a bit of money on the floor - not even lots, a tenner would do.

Cut to lunchbreak, mincing through the station by the ticket machines, as you do. In full view of everybody within a few hundred yards (yet apparently oblivious), lying all crisp on the recently-swept floor? Only a tenner.

Satan looks after his own. ;)
 
That sounds like you used the power of attraction sammy g, it does work if you believe it. I used to be able to make the busy lifts always be on my floor at my old job if on the way to the lift I visualised them being there. My dad used to make it work for parking spaces in car parks too, getting really good spaces even when the car park was virtually full. It worked pretty much all the time. Needs a lot of belief though.
 
I knew someone would find it, now do the honest thing, I'll cover the cost of postage;)
 
I was going to offer to send Sammy a tenner but seeing as he found one I'll spend it on booze! Oh wait I already have :D Synchronicity.

It was the Horned One himself finally giving me something back for all those blood sacrifices. And maybe the fact that my eyes were crusing at arse level meant I had a distinct advantage too. ;)

Seen my best mate's baby daughter for the first time since she was born yesterday <3 Cute lil thing, mad amount of gingery brown hair and either looks constantly surprised, like you've just jumped out at her from behind a door, or is grinning like a maniac. Five months old I believe, need to get back here more often I think. Was also good to see her son again, he's three and a half now and a mad bastard, last time I saw him he was still sort of baby-y but now he's proper having conversations with ya and whatnot, just have to explain that I can't throw him round and carry him about like I did when he was younger cos he's too bloody heavy!
 
This is ace.

I was in Sainsburys in the booze isle trying to see what the best cider would be for less than £2 and this bloke asked me what a i thought was a decent West Country Cider i said Thatchers .

He gave me a £5 for my advice i needed it so much as i have no fags or owt till monday .

Then to make it a super snoo i found a receipt with 50 unclaimed nectar points which helped me reach the magic 500 thus earning me a further £2.50.

When your skint it's amazing when stuff like that happens .
 
A bloke gave you a fiver because you told him Thatchers was a good cider. Bizarre. It's worthy of a 'thanks mate' but not giving money. Did you ask him for the cash or he just handed it over?
