I've came up with an idea of something I can do in return, as I'm not creative enough to do it getting a bloke on fiverr.com to do it for $5! Also bought her something today that will be useful for her.

Snoo for me is working from home %) I could get used to this, have been surprisingly productive too.
 
Oh wow oh wow, it's a lovely day here, hot as you like and full of sunshine. Just mowed the extremely unruly lawn, it looks surprisingly good (or it will til the chopped grass covering the bald spots at the moment wilts). Smells GRRRRRREAT.

Same here jan. Though I could do with cutting the grass here too lol - I've plonked myself outside under a sun umbrella, its that bright and all I can hear are the birds, trees rustling and the distant hum of boats and the ferry on the water. Does indeed smell good. Lovely.
 
Lol i just stuck my head out of my cave and noticed it is very nice out! blue skies, sunshine :)
Makes a change, and also the problems i had yesterday have gotten slightly better, My Dad has had money sent to him from my Aunty so he is back afloat for the time being and in a considerably better less 'end it all' mood today! I've applied for 3 jobs, 2 part time and 1 full time, already heard back from the full time one :) but ideally the part time one will suit me best as i can continue with this job too and earn a helluva lot more than the full time one alone :D
 
I'm really glad things are looking up! Like you said the other day a night of getting messed up with friends can really help your mindset in these situations, but the above is great news.

i think the sunny day has helped a lot too, Also throwing myself into some monotonous work (Data/spreadsheet crap) has really helped! just knuckling down and getting it done!
 
I'm happy that I was able to change my flight for 75 quid from a 19hr layover to a 3hr layover. To get the 3hr layover when originally booking was looking at costing me an extra 200 quid. I only paid 477 quid for the flight which is super cheap.

Fucking boss day, not a cloud in the sky, sweating the second I walked out the house kinda weather. Woke up around 12:30, set off into town, ended up buying some book I wanted to read and spent three or four hours sat in a beer garden drinking pints and reading. Pretty 'local' place so everyone had plenty to say. Was a genuinely awesome way to spend my day and I feel more relaxed now than I have in yeaaaaars <3

Also last night a mate I'm living with next year tagged us all in a note on FB and came out as a transsexual, making the full on transition by the end of the month. Kinda expected something like that because the first thing me and the woman thought on meeting him was 'woah this dude is prettier than us'. So yeah, he announced it to all of us he's living with and it was awesome to see how everyone supported him over it. Seems genuinely fucking happy and I'm made up for him, just got to get used to the pronouns and new name now.

edit: already referring to him as 'her' with her new name but for the purposes of the post made more sense to use 'him'

Another girl I've been seeing out here bought me some gifts last night, a cool photo collage of some photos she had of us with a nice message on the back, couple cool t-shirts and 2 CDs of thai ska, reggae and other music she knows I like. Now I need to think what I'm going to get her! Was hard enough to think of something for the other bird!
 
Snolly just reminded me of a embarrassing thing I did the other day.

Being a janitor I always get other men following me into the ladies toilets. I guess it's the whole 'sheeple' thingy.

Anyway, on this particular day I caught a glimpse of yet another fuckwit man behind me as I was entering the ladies toilets.
I decided enough was enough. Turned around and proceeded to tell them "Um.... These are the LADIES toilets" *pointing to the lady sign on the door*.

As the words came out of my mouth I knew I had made a mistake.

The man in question was just a woman with v short hair and man like features.

Luckily she was OK with me.
In her dutch sounding accent she replied "That's not a problem".

I just turned red and headed for the broom cupboard and hid in there until I knew she was gone. :o
 
Hahaha! That's fucking funny cornish. But do you not close the ladies bogs before you go into them? Or are you hoping to meet people in there?

lol, we have a "Male Janitor" warning sign that goes up as to not alarm the womenz coz the toilets are far too busy to be closing.

One day a woman actually requested I leave the toilets in her presence. She couldn't possibly have a man in the same room as her whilst she took a piss in a cubicle or whatever. 8(
