nice pic atm :)

I don't have my own allotment , but share one and it is indeed a great thing to be able to sustain one self on food that you have grown yer self.
This is gonna mean more to me know as i am moving tto a New Build APPT. with no outside space:( so the allotment will take on an even bigger role .
I'm not even allowed a Bird feeder , am not amused , but sacrifices must be made .
One day i expect to be able to visit your allotment Mugz and see it in rude health:) Good luck .

I hope that I can show you a flourishing allotment someday. It all depends on whether or not I end up keeping my job on Monday, i really hope that I do, as then it can be the start of something. I don't think mine is going to be a fulll sized one, they are making the bigger ones half the size, but that is still a lot of space as my dad's is only halfl an allotment but is pretty huge. I really want it to be big enough to put a decent shed on it too, hopefully the previous tenant of the allotment will have had a shed himself and not take it with him, that would be cool :) I'll be able to put a dart board on the shed door too to play some darts when I am not gardening.

Snoo for today is it being saturday, it feels like it should be sunday, am glad it is only saturday. Another snoo was having a good chat with a friend last night.

I looked round and considered an allotment last year, and spoke to some of the coolest, most awesome guys while I looked around

I asked about security and about leaving equipment and building a shed and such and one 80 year old, old timer said ...
'it's okay .. when you get your spades nicked [and your spades will get nicked], you can buy em back for £2 quid at CashConverters' ... =D

i loved his resolve and pragmatism ... and he had a hairy nose and it was dribbling ... those were good things tho ... but i decided i couldnt give an allotment the time and attention it deserved, despite really wanting one

pee ess, I'm struggling with the word 'snoo' ...

I might have recently found out I have a disease that I have to learn to live with, and could potentially be a killer if I don't start to look after myself, but I'm alive and am determined to take control back of my life, and stop letting a drug control me. I miss being the boss of me! So my snoo is, a glimse of clarity that I just felt a moment ago. One day at a time though eh.

Sorry to hear about your health challenge here cherry. Glad youve got some clarity over what you need to do to deal with it in the best way though.

Such hard times sweetheart, I so wish you didn't have to find that out. But better to know and deal with it than live in ignorance and suffer. Hopefully what comes next for you is manageable, doable and makes a better difference to your life. Take hold of that "clarity" and grip on tight, there's more to life than drugs, you know this <3 You are never far from my thoughts, I wish you the very best.

Please keep communicating with us.

Things must be going badly for EADD as a whole if this thread was buried 5 pages back!

My reasons to be cheerful today are

i) it's sunny for November

ii) one of my mates just found out that he hasn't got cancer, despite being completely convinced that he had. YEAH!!!!

Apart from this hangover, and subsequent lack of work inspiration, the world's kind of OK today.

It's lovely and sunny for November!

That's really good news about your mate, I'm glad for you mate!

I glad your world is ok today! I'm feeling pretty good too, gonna have the company of a good friend later and I'm taking my lovely dog for a nice long walk in the sun later!

Cheers, I'm so pleased. I didn't realise how much it was weighing on my mind til he told me he had the all clear and then I just kind of gripped his arm and couldn't let go or stop grinning, which was a bit awkward as he hates physical contact! There were about three bad possibilities, the worst of which was cancer, and it turns out he's got something unusual but easy to fix which wasn't even on our list. Get in (fires gold plated AK47 in the air).

Have an awesome walk, if it's anything like as clear and sunny as it is here it'll be beautiful! Wish I had a dog on days like this. Don't let yer socks ride up inside yer wellies.

Aw that's such good news mate, I know someone with cancer at the mo and it's such a worry for their friends and family, the professionals think she's reacting well to chemotherapy, she looks really Ill as you can imagine but fingers crossed ey!

I'm sure I'll have a lovely walk thanks mate, yeah having a dog is great, they really do make great companions! It's really muddy still so it's definately a wellie day!

My cousin had been going through some old pictures, and scanned a picture of my mam and dad when they were 23, and put it up on her facebook. She tagged me in it saying I was the double image of my Mam. I hadn't been expecting it at all, and got a really lovely surprise when I logged in. My mam was beautiful when she was younger (she stayed beautiful as she was growing older of course, right until her last day alive) I still think I look more like my Dad. Seeing my mams face unexpectedly made me glow :)

I've been sensing her with me a lot recently. <3 She knows I need her.

Had my liver function tested, this week. Rang up before, for the results. All normal. So happy about it. Although I've cut down a lot, I still worry that I've caused a hell of a lot of damage, in the past, from being a heavy alcoholic. Remarkable organ, eh?

I'm having kittens! I'm officially a crazy cat lady, just gimme a cuppa tea, knitting and a cardigan, oh hang on i'm already wearing one. I'm going to be a spinster with my knitting and kittens <3

The girl just rang to tell me she'd chosen me as she sensed I'd be good with them, and liked how they behaved around me. Off out now to get some kitten essentials, then come back to sort things out. Picking them up tomorrow. I'm so happy, it's funny how things seem to fall into place. When I decide to sort my life out, I don't fucking hold back!!! Nine lives.....

Nice snoos for me - man found and ripped lots of my lost music. Had it on my last laptop that I thought I'd lost. Appears a lot of it has been lying hidden in boxes in storage, now got it at my finger-tips on the server %)

This eve's snoo has been listening to Wrexile <3

I need music.
