Snooo #1.
I've just woken up with a deadly hangover, surprised and unsure as to how I got home last night. I don't remember much. I remember a Polish staff member of the bar coming up to me crying. She explained how when she was drinking off-duty with me a couple of weeks ago. Her little sister was there, too. She was only 16 and was buying her own drinks. However, she got sacked anyway and is cut up about it. She got no warning, she just came into work and they told her she was fired.
She was very distraught but I got on the phone straight away and got her a new a job, starting Tuesday. So I did my small part in repairing some of my guilt.

I also woke up to find a bag of weed beside me, which I have no recollection of obtaining.
''That should help the hangover'', I thought. I then go to our letterbox to find two HMRC letters addressed to me. So, I panicked again. I opened them and instead of bad news, I have a £645 rebate

T'was very unexpected as I'd already received a tax rebate back in February for £480. This is a godsend. So to show my appreciation for the shite I've put my family through in the past couple of months, I get to take them out for a nice meal :D
It also means I have the lump-sum I need to pay for an intensive driving course, where they guarantee me a pass within a month. I'm going to book my theory and then give the guy £299 and finally upgrade this provisional.
