No wonder it took you so long to find really Sam, can't even see your chest of drawers under all that stuff.
 
Just got back from me hols, Father in law has been round and sorted out my front garden....admittedly he managed to totally severe my cable TV and broadband connection and turn the freezer in the garage off but the thought was there :D
 
haha glad you're still seeing it as snoo.

Was walking to the boob station from my bros and there was a pile of books on a wee table outside a house so got myself an encyclopedia of cooking by prue leith, huzzah.
 
why dont more people do that kinda stuff ? We use a local sysetm round herer called "free cycle" I think they are setup locally in different places. Basically you just put up a message saying you ahve soemthing you don't want and people mail you and you mail one back qand arrange pick up.

Its great, intead of taking stuff up the tip people come to th door and take it away and thet are happy about it, got rid of an old PC witrh proper CRT monitor the other day. the guy said it was for his duaghter so she could type up her homework so I loaded office onto it for him...double snoo
 
^ Bristol is a great city for that. Some things ive picked up from outside peoples houses include a decent much pretty much un used tefal frying pan, the one with the heat spot in the middle and some pyrex kitchenware, a scanner that works, antique plates, a miffy bag, hand made felt bag, some picture frames, DVDs, that's just to name a few. People leave allsorts. My friend got a computer, one of the mini box ones! Just needed a monitor and an upgrade. Freecycle is only big in some cities, Bristol is full of hippies ;)

We also have a free shop, which is also a squat where everything is free. My mate found these DCs in there and gave me them for my birthday a couple of weeks ago....they're brand new!! Free shoe/best birthday present I got snoo!

Pop down your local tip...sorry recycling center, mine has piles of bike staked up and the guys let you take away what ever you want, bound to find a half decent crank there pretty standard IME.
 
My lovely mate picking herself up, dusting herself off and letting me be part of her life. Hopefully her knowing she's NEVER alone and she's always got someone that loves her very much.
 
My Bail ended yesterday, only got a caution, sent to criminal justice intervention team for addiction support, told off the record, that the police officer who deals with my snitch of a neighBORE who got me raided, takes everything my neighBORE says with a pinch of salt anyway, and from the way he was talking, he can't be fucking arsed with him and seems to think he does not belong in the area hes moved to. Ive now been given more support than i've had in a while and it has made my week.

Life turnaround, x fuck knows how many.
 
Im happy because my fish which is a fan tail goldie had to be moved to an emergency tank as while i was on phenazepam i thought i was pouring milk in to a cuo of tea which was actually a 70ltr fish tank yeah i know ffs crazy

anyway i just gave her temp tank a good proper clean out, cleaned the filter cartridges used the gravel cleaner to hoover up the poop on the bottom lol , done a water change and added the formulas needed to keep the water safe for her and some food and she is swimming around so happily , believe me if you own a fan tail you can tell when they are sick or happy and just now she was so happy swimming around and around doing twists and turns lol

and on sunday we are going to get her 70-80ltr tank cleaned out and start the cycle needed for the water to be proper for her tolive in as you cant just put goldfish straight in to tap water or it will die 90% of the time because of the chloride etc
 
Having a friend who understands and comes to check on me. Brings me food (NOT drugs, wont do any drugs in front of me) as he said i'm not eating properly, and listens to all my crap and stays with me when I can't face being alone. He's promised to get clean with me, and we're going off on adventures. Positive things that don't involve drugs. Days out etc.

I'd been sleeping all afternoon after he left earlier, as it was the only way to get away from my head. then he buzzed my buzzer just to bring me some chips. Bless him, he lives a 40 min bus ride away, and has no bus fare!

fuck i thought my room was bad lol ... i mean its bad but thats all garbage and could just be thrown in to a black bag and wouldnt take that long ,my problem is i have actual things i want to keep all over the place like dvd's , cups , but i do have alot of drug use paraphernalia amongst it but i can actually walk across my room where there are some clear spots with no stuff on the floor , thats what i was saying yesterday the only rubbish is really use needles and foil to be binned which makes it harder cos i need to organize the rest of my stuff lying around but the pains and bruising are going away so that will make it easier :)
 
Got a pair of Denon earphones a couple of years ago & they have been brilliant. The other week they started to come apart & fuck up. Cut the wires back & soldered them back in - jobs a good un. Back to brand new sound again.

If you knew my shit history of soldering things, you would understand how snootabulous this is to me :D
 
im good with a soldering iron and used to use them to fix my snes controllers after angry defeats on street fighter 2 turbo lol

one time i thought i had switched it off and it had been laying on a tray used for soldering , anyway yeah i thought it had been off for half an hour and picked up the entire bare metal irpn part , OUCH ! oh fuck my hand was really badly burnt blistering etc , i never made that mistake again also i dont get angry at games like that any more to throw my controllers and they are wireless so problem solved lol
 
Hahaha, rage soldering FTW!

I treated myself to a small butane soldering iron that comes with a load of different tips so that made it much, much easier. I used to chip playstations for other people using what was available at the time & the irons back then were quite industrial in their size.

This little beauty makes me want to.....you know....make shit!
