Calm down dear it's only a message board. No point in threatning to leave because we know you'll be back. Why you having a go at me when I hardly said a thing, Evad actually insulted you yet you've said fuck all.

My faith in customer service has been temporarily restored.

I went into Tesco 15 mins before closing to buy a top up voucher for my internet dongle, get told to do it on the self serve as they've no staff for tills. So I do. Then I get home, and something makes me realise I've left the voucher in the self service machine!!

It's five mins to closing by this time, so I run all the way back to the shop, stagger up there out of breath and pleaded with the security guard to let me back in as they'd closed up by time I get there. The staff make a half arsed attempt to look through the bin behind the tills, but they're not really showing much interest in my situation, they want to get home. It's not there. So I walk out hoping that the person who found it uses my credit well!

Then as I'm walking out of the shop I see the security guard going through the bin outside the main doors, and he hands me a scrumpled up voucher. The person behind me must have thrown it away thinking it was a receipt. I could have hugged him, but I just called him a star and thanked him. It's his job to help people after all, but some store security can be twatish.

Happy happy Helen, I'm too skint to be wasting 15 quid like that!

My mrs lost her wallet and phone at a festival weekend gone, got the wallet back at lost property rinsed of all cash and drugs but still containing bank card which was about a 2/10 on the snoo scale.
A couple of days ago however her mate received a text from the phone she had lost (battery had been dead) someone had found it while packing up from the fest and took it back as lost property was about closed by then anyway. He turned out to be in the same city as us an I went to meet him last night at a bar to get it back, the guy was lovely and wouldn't even accept a drink from me as thanks, said he just wanted to ptove there was still goodness left in the world.
gave me a bit of a :)

I'm no longer classed as homeless! Got the call I'd been waiting for today!

After being on the re-housing register for only 3 weeks, I've been offered the flat I wanted. I came 1st out of 89 bidders altogether.

Just some paper work to sort out, and a reference from my support worker, then it's all go!

Now the fun of furnishing it from scratch (and with only JSA to pay for it) can begin, the place is totally empty, not even an oven! I don't have any furniture or household things of my own, all my belongings fit in three suitcases.

I've set myself the challenge of seeing how much of it I can furnish using free-cycle and furniture charities. Got a 21" TV from a lady on Free-cycle last week, so that's a start. Brand new mattress shall be acquired though! I think i'm entitled to some sort of resettlement grant for some furniture.

So happy!

Fight for everything, it pays off!

The great Cherry re-homing drive. Send all donations her way. Hey, I think I have a Lean Mean grilling machine some where. If I find it I'm sending it. Enjoy m'dear.

felicitaciones a usted y su nueva casa

Nice one on the re-housing CCF :)

I had a bit of snoo yesterday getting on the bus. There's an old guy who is blind locally. I presume he had sight up until recently as he's not very good walking around with the dog. Everyone else was already on the bus, then he kind of appeared at the wrong stand. There must have been other people on the bus that knew him aswell but nobody said anything. I quickly jamp off the bus and told the driver to wait for him then helped the guy over. He was very happy I'd helped him and he didn't have to wait.

Also started doing another higher the other day so I can go to uni next year. And job interview for friday... :)

Thats lovely snoo Cap'n. That really made me smile :) I have a relative who is blind and I would love it if someone like you helped him out if he needed it. <3

Congrats on the uni thang btw. Best of luck for your up and coming job interview.

My snoo today is just being happy for no reason at all. The sun is shining, the weather is warm and I have a huge happy smile on my face. =D

Captain releaved the old geezer of his medicine whilst helping him though, and nicked a tenner to get a gram of meph in.

Cheers Sadie. Yeah he just looked like he was having a hard time working his way around by feel and asking people. Have seen him around a few times before on the same bus so knew where he was going. Was a couple of 30-40 year old women on the bus too who clearly saw and knew him and did nothing. Could see them looking pissed off at me when he got on and started speaking loudly on his phone (he always does). I just walked past them and smiled sweetly as I got off :)

What bitches. I hope they never have to go through such a confusing and frightening ordeal. I'll bet he was rather glad you were about. I know I would be. My mate text me earlier today to say a blind woman got on her bus today and none of the old crows in the front got up to give the poor woman a seat. What a fucked up world man. That kinda stuff really pisses me off. There's no need. Manners cost nothing.

Snoo'd to bits today and no drugs involved - the sweetest of the sweet for me, talk about natural excitement :D

It all involved motorbikes, satin frocks, pageboys and simple loved-up-ness =D

^ LOL, i've tried to do that with germans and it was pretty much impossible.

also, trying to get them to say CUN(t) the scottish way, with a semi-silent T, proved to be even more difficult. funny though.

I'm having some major snooage lately. So happy! Back at college doing another 2 highers so I'll have 5 good highers for uni next year. Enjoying the classes, everyone is sound and made a few pals already.

Also chatted up this girl at the bus stop yesterday and got her number. She seems like a really nice person, meeting her monday. Also got a girl in my Sociology classes number today after working with her and getting on well, she's 23 aswell but seems like another cutie :D

A trial at a local restaurant tomorrow. Handed in loads of reallys strong letters of application to places I would actually like to work part time this week too, HMV, local theatre, a couple of swanky bars and all seemed interested. Bonus, part time job plus = more money for codders :)

Not to mention this new club and the techno night on Sat! 2c-b/ketamine, good mates and a couple of hotties.

RESULT!!!!!!!!
