Sniffer dogs

Come on people. SHELVE IT SHELVE IT SHELVE IT. Get over it and save yourself enormous grief, financial expense, AND you can roll with ease. Even if you sneak stuff into a festival with the stuff in your bra, mouth etc, I still find the nervousness and tension excruciating. Much easier to just not worry about it! What's a bit of discomfort to a trip to the copshop, a permanent record, a fine, and sometimes not even getting to attend the festival. I know what I'll be doing.

If you are honest, cool, calm, collected and co-operative, I doubt they will care at all.

It depends on the cop though. And how convenient a search is.

If someone gets sniffed out at a train station tomorrow (likely to be dogs due to nye) and they are searched (pockets, pat down, wallet searched and such) and htey are found with nothing, and they state that they haven't got anything, but were around people smoking weed or something like that, is iikely that they will be let go or that they will be taken to station for strip search?

Id think theyd need reasonable grounds to conduct a search. Usually if the dog does indicate then they can take u for a strip search otherwise no. Been watchin alot of documentaries where cops pulled over people and they patted them down and they needed to get a consent to search the car unless there is an indication to drugs being in the car.

There has been many times when the driver doesnt consent to a search and then they call dogs to sniff the whole car. If it indicates thats enough, if not then they cant search the car without a warrant or consent unless a crime has been already established.

Yeah, im talking the dog has sat down next to you. Just wondering as my stuff isn't going to be found i don't think, but i would like to avoid a trip to the cop shop (im fully willing for a search in pockets / shoes / wallet and such, but would rather get on my way). Also, is saying "was around people smoking weed" a reasonable excuse, ie, i know the cops have heard it time and time again, but does it actually work? Will it explain why i was sniffed out?

To be honest i wouldnt go anywhere near someone who had just smoked sum green if i were to have sumfn on me. Dont make foolish mistakes, there are so many things that can get u busted. Believe me, ive been there done that before. Have had cops called on us just for being loud where they conducted a full search.

They have heard it all. Impossible to give a good enough reason for them to let u be if the dog has sat down. They usually go for stronger odors but yea the smoke will be on ur clothes and body.

I think 35 is too hot for the dogs, however last time I looked top temp for tomorrow is 32.

They were also out at BDO earlier in the year in the heat so they may still be there.

Yes the cops have heard the smoking weed one over and over again but they don't know any better.

Wonder if this was why I didn't see any sniffer dogs at the Perth Summadayze?

Not that it would have mattered if they were there for me or a lot of others this year... fucking MDMA shortage :(

I thought the point of this method was so that if questioned, you can simple swallow them and retrieve them later if wanted once they pass through your system? But then you don't get them at said event or whatever.

BINGO! We have a winner... Better to not have the stuff than get caught with them....

I would advise against swallowing all your drugs to avoid detection. When its all sitting in your guts the only thing that could be keeping you alive is that flimsy piece of plastic.

i wonder if sniffer dogs can be fooled when they are sniffing ur house by spraying bong water everywhere. maybe the dogs are trained to go to the source (where the smell is strongest) but idk maybe it would work.

^ was once involved in a vehicle search where there was a bong, and half oz of weed in a large 4wd.

They let the dog into the vehicle and it went straight for the bong (which was spilled because people in the rear of the vehicle were smoking just prior to the road block search.

They didnt send it back in for another search and i wondered if the spilled bong smell basically stopped any chance of the dog finding something else?

*shrug*

Hey just a question, a festival is coming up and i was reading the NSW legal aid page and this statement caught my attention:

"Special provisions apply if the person being searched is aged between 10 and 17 years or intellectually impaired."

what are these special provisions if a dog sniffs me out? thanks.

If ur underage then u need a parent or gaurdian present during the search.
