Smoking cannabis in the US

I didn't know it was normal in other countries to mix the weed with the tobacco. I smoke straight weed. I don't like anything about tobacco. I'd be more likely to mix my weed with shit, just cuz I really think tobacco is awful.
 
I have never smoked tobacco, never even hookah, the temptation is big because everyone says it gets you higher and makes the high last longer, but still i am trying to stay pure to weed. I always smoke pure weed and sometimes some tea because I LOVE the taste of blueberry tea, even more than weed. And when I am out of weed tea really relaxes me
 
ya only have one or two friends that roll spliffs. i dont really like the idea of deep inhaling tobacco, regardless of whether is more or less harmful than weed.. it just hurts. some of my friends will pass if there is tobacco in the j.

verrrrry common to mix in australia too. almost unheard of to smoke straight...

I actually never knew that! My friends and I always smoke it straight. Never seen a reason to mix it regularly, although I have tried it. Don't have a very large circle so we by no means represent the status quo.

True, but of a different kind. I see no need to mix the two unless you're already a smoker :D
 
I don't know anyone who rolls pure blunts as the norm (europe)

Isn't rolling pure weed tremendously expensive?
 
I really didn't know smoking cannabis with tobacco was so rare in the US.

I'm impressed. Must get pretty high off a pure spliff or blunt though..
 
I almost always mix my spliffs with a pinch of tobacco, I find they burn more evenly and sometimes add a nice flavor if you use specialty rolling tobacco.

Never in a bowl though, that is foul.
 
I'd never put baccy in a bowl, but if we smoked a pure spliff over here i'm pretty sure it wouldn't burn well at all. And we usually smoke spliffs

There is no imperical scientific eveidence linking MJ to any form of cancer. soo, not a carcinogin.

But yea, very rarely do we mix it here.. As far as burning better or more evenly I find that just breaking it up finely or using a grinder is more than sufficient.

Every now and then I'll roll a spliff, mostly when I am almost out of either cigs or weed.. Helps it last a bit longer. I do smoke incredible amounts of cigs so for me its not all that bad, but my friends who dont smoke baccy cringe at the thought. Oh yea, only with mids, never with cronic.
 
IME in the US most herb smokers do not mix tobacco in joints, bongs, or bowls of herb or hash.

People do however roll blunts and smoke those and lots of people do smoke a cig after they blaze or when they drink booze.
 
I know one person who sometimes mixes tobacco with weed in a bowl, and he claims that it once "saved his life" because when a cop had caught them smoking, the piggy actually believed they were just smoking tobacco.

I've done that myself a couple of times, but it's really not my thing. I'd rather just smoke straight bud, then a cig.
