Oh my god i am so bloody excited i am about to turn inside out....

I logged onto myspace for the first time in ages and to my surprise i saw that my FAVORITE psychedelic trance producer had added ME as a friend.... I was like wtf??? NO way!!!! I searched for him not too long ago and couldn't find him! Obviously my myspace searching skills are fucking shithouse!!

And then after chatting to him in PM's i find out that he is going to be playing at ROYAL DOOF this year ....

I am so excited, im gonna have to crack up his music and burn off this hypo energy i have now because i just can't believe it!!!!!!!! Seriously, i discoverer his music about 3 years ago when i was in the city shopping in a funky clothing store "ministry of style" after only hearing about 5 mins of the track playing i just had to buy it... i made them physically take his cd out of the player and sell it to me. haha!!!!

Ahhhh im just so over the moon right now.... it's gonna be a fucking HUGE one this year!!! :D

I actually feel emotional... this is weird. I think i am his most obsessed No.1 fan !!
Music hasn't enriched my soul like his has!

:D:D:D:D

While I didn't get the job I was interviewing for last week, I was offered a newly created custom position at that company!!! My lack of design experience was what let me down, so they want me to work in a business development role for 12 months as this better suits my previous experience.

This will allow me to get to know the business and the design industry as a whole, and will subject me to a great deal of the practices I will need exposure to. Also, I will be working closely with the person in the role I went for originally, and will be developed with the goal of my taking on that role after my first year.

I'm so so happy as this means;
  1. I can quit my baby-sitting job, looking after The Worst Kids in the WorldTM
  2. I will have money again!!!111
  3. I have a job lined up before my diploma is even completed

I'm starting in two weeks time or when I am replaced at my baby-sitting job, whichever comes first, and will be doing half days until I finish my studies. Life could not be better at the moment. %)

Japan in 15 days yay.

Absolutely LOVED Japan, my wife and I definitely considered moving there. I think we would *if* we didn't have our parents both living down here (and 'close' to twilight years, well mine just hit 80 yrs each). I have old school mates/people I grew up with living in Japan so that's a good incentive to move, already have circle of friends etc. http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j250/undii/Japan/ :D

So, anyway, lately for me, smiles have been bought on by RC helicopter. Been using my father in-laws and absolutely LOVING it. In a couple hours I totally own my father in-law for skill/control of using his RC heli heh. It's got me to go out and research 'better' ones. His only stays upright and is a hand held one to have fun in your lounge room etc. I want one that can do acrobatic, '3D flying' due to getting somewhat bored with the limits of his little heli.

Getting a "Blade 400" and also a RC heli sim as general consensus is one will learn LOTS on a sim, very realistic for controls etc. And best thing, when you push your [skill] limits in the sim, crashing does cost $$$$$$ to repair the heli ($30-$80 each time it seems for 'bad' crashes). Can't wait for them to arrive. Also it will be a hobby that my daughter can hang out with me with. Riding motorbikes is something she can't join in until age 8 or something these days with the laws + 'little ones' on bikes.

And they can do so much!!! Insane stuff (and LOVE the blade sound)

^ That's sweet Wazza. That youtube link lead me to a whole heap of videos of people using RC helicopters to catch fish! Ha!

I found this quote in a travel blog about tourists drinking in pubs in Australia. It was explaining about shout etiquette in pubs here.

The other way of shouting drinks is to shout the whole bar a drink. This is generally only done by those who are (a) celebrating obtaining a huge amount of money, (b) are too drunk or stupid to know better, or (c) are in an empty bar.

Classic! :D

Ooh yum! I love dried fruits, especially apple chips and dried bananas. So sticky and lovely!

I'm smiling today as we finally have a date for the wedding we're going to attend in Dublin later in the year! Half way through of September we should be swanning around the Irish country-side having spent a few days in London checking out various museums and art galleries and generally getting our Pommy-on. :D

SO EXCITED, I can't hardly wait! Now to figure out a baggage-friendly wedding outfit.. /Scratches head

When the english do these reality adventure lost survival type shows just like the americans produce, are they really being taking the mickey sarcastic or are they seriously zaneously crapper than the americans?

Bought our tickets to Europe yesterday.

T-3 months and we are out of here for 3 months! W00t!!!! :):):)

I'm also smiling because I'm going to Europe :)
We're starting in the UK, then plan on trouping around most of western Europe, and wherever the wind dares to take us.

...and yes, I'm going with Jimity ;)

That's going to be amazing, how exciting for you guys :)

I'm a little bit insanely jealous....

New job, motherfuckers!

Bye bye company I hate full of people I can't stand with boring work that's not stretching me, hello small company full of with it people in a role that's going to be a (big) challenge.

Thanks to my boss for offering me more cash money to stay, but damn it felt good to turn it down!

Tomorrow When The War Began Movie.

It may be shit (especially with Neighbours' stars in it) but I'm officially excited until it comes out.
I'm counting down the days!!!

I was telling Busty how I used to wait for each book to be released while I was in late primary school - early high-school. My best friends' Mum would buy her each book, and I'd read the one before as she read the current one.

It's such an amazing series. I saw the preview the other day, and it looks like they just might have done it justice.. here's hoping. :)

Get to hang with BLers on Friday

Met at and haven't seen since rainbow

So excited! :)

Oooh I think I know who they are! Can I come too?! <3

I somehow stayed up all night on a school night, which in itself isn't smile worthy, but my boyfriend will be stepping off the plane in 11.5 hours after being away for work for 4 weeks.

THAT is fuckin' smile worthy :)

I was a lil too excited to sleep. And a bit too drunkies.
