Just back from my last trip for the year, YAY, shouldn't have to travel interstate till Feb now.

Work Xmas party tonight, gonna get smashed and have a good time =D
 
Got a High Distinction for my biology subject, pretty stoked!

Only got a pass for my other subject but that was directly proportionate to the effort I put into it.

My smile, three days of work left before a week off =D Am looking forward to seeing my family over X-mas, I haven't seen my little brother for a year so it'll be good to catch up with him.

....for a week anyway.
But it includes Peats Ridge Festival for New Years - AND I get to spend it with my wonderful man now - so that's just downright awesome. Can't wait.
 
I got all my Christmas shopping done this afternoon in an hour and they're not shit presents. Spent a little more than I meant to but what of it, I know everyone will be happy with what they get knowing I put thought into it and didn't just get this or that. So many presents aren't worth receiving sometimes.

So.... one more thing I don't have to worry about...... now I just have to spend two hours wrapping the damn things.
 
Won't be in town for Christmas so the boyfriend and I did pre-Christmas last night. Moet, damn tasty food, and retardedly thoughtful gifts. Glad this abortion of a year has turned around and is wrapping up nicely :)
 
So I was feeling at a loss of what to do this evening. Feeling a little down and little empty.
What to do, what to do?

I poured a bourbon and let my thoughts flow, it's been ages since I've written anything.
I haven't written anything more than a few words here and there in a long time but tonight everything made sense as it flowed, I felt like my fingers had a mind of their own.

Anyway, four and a bit pages and 2956 words later; I think may actually be starting on something that has the possibility to be a very lengthy piece of work. I'm not going to say book worthy yet.

I had to stop because I needed to get it all down in planned format, I've dram character trees and toyed with plots etc etc etc.

I'm in a good mood now. =D
 
^ Sweet. Nothing like feeling the creative juices flowing. I haven't written anything in a very long time.

:) = I just got back from Sydney and one of my housemates is cooking dinner.

I need to get back into my painting but should wait 'til I "feel" it or the work will show the lack of enthusiasm.
