Hey, was wondering if some of yall who got experience with larger barrel syringes can give me a few tips...I need to use 3cc ones for larger dilaudid shots which i am ordering tonight but it came to my attention that apparently when you use a larger barrel size that the tip size can become a problem if its too small. i hadnt even thought about it but then i saw a post on another forum . where this guy said he had a 5cc and a 30g tip and said he could not push it down to save his life, there was too much pressure to be able to push the plunger down with one hand and so it was basically useless. Now IDK if a 3cc is smaller enough that it wouldnt be as much of a problem, or what. i was thinking of using 29's, or 28's, but dont want big ass bruises all over so was hopign to use the smallest one i can get away with. recommendations?
So I ask you OD'ers....What is the smallest gauge tip size I can use with a 3cc syringe while still having quick, smooth, easy flow thru the needle, and that I will easily be able to pull back, register, and depress the plunger with one hand without having that horrible moment where youre registered and you try and push it down and it just sticks? Or you want to slam it home and you end up pushing down slowly so it takes like 20 seconds to get the damn shot into your arm? Any tips? Ordering ASAP so quick replies are appreciated...
