Slender girls vs. Curvy Girls? MERGED. [mild work warning]

I'd like to join in the cries of : "what the fuck are clothes manufacturers thinking"

A size 10 in one shop, is a size 18 in another. You can go from "whoopee I'm a sex goddess" to "I'm an elephant" in a matter of minutes in your average shopping mall. I really don't understand it.

And, like samadhi, things that fit my butt gape at the waist, and things that are nice around the waist.... well, I only have to assume they're perfect around the waist because I can't get them over my thighs.

Don't even get me started on jeans/pants. If you're under 5ft 10, you practically need to hire a casual seamstress.

Who are these clothes made for?

As a large busted woman I have to say too: not *all* tops suit us. I would die to be able to wear strapless tops, and little "spaghetti strap" things, but there needs to be a significant amount of haulage happening from the shoulder area to keep these babies in check. ;)

Sometimes I feel if my boobs were bigger I would look better. I try not to sound shallow but I love thin big breasted Playboy women! I sort of wish my boobs were a size D because then I would feel better about myself. I look good and I am sort of obsessed with what I think is my imperfection-my boobs (even though they are cute).
I am slim/average 118lbs, 5'5, 34B(small B), flat stomach, I have nice long legs, a little cute round bum, pretty face-blonde hair, blue eyes, and a little tan. I have friends who are thin and have big breasts but other than that they aren't that cute looking. My boyfriend and others tell me I am stunning and gorgeous.

With that description you're gonna have to show us a pic now!!! ;)

I like all shapes, I do find I look more at slim or meduim built woman more than bigger woman. I have few stunning diana dorrs looking female friends. they are very sexy ladies, and when we are out many men trip over their tongues when they walk in the room. In some ways men who like big woman are the majority.

YOUR ALL GORGEOUS BIG OR SMALL
thats a cuddle and kiss you all owe me, if we ever meet!!!

hey I wanna post a picture I just dont know how! :) I think I know how to add one to the profile. How do you post them in replies? I am a dummy!

A lot of times I think it doesn't matter what your body looks like (as long as your not morbidly obese). A pretty face goes a long way.

It always strikes me as so odd when ladies like SLM and samadhi bemoan their pants-problem of 'too tight in the legs/bottom, but gaping at the waist' because I can't ever find pants EITHER, but I have the exact OPPOSITE problem. I have small thighs and a big waist, so 99% of pants are baggy in the thighs but won't button at the waist. :(

It seems like women's pants are geared towards like 5% of the populat, and the rest of us are screwed!

They need to have different styles for different body types.

And regarding length, I'm 5'5", but I can never find pants that fit that are long enough for me, as I'm very long in the leg. Only giant pants that gape on me are long enough! :X

I'm 5'10" (almost 5'11") and now 141lbs... I can't find pants anymore that are long enough for me that will even STAY ON... anything long enough literally slides off my hips. pants that are tight are kind of a joke to me, they also gape at the waist, and have never been long enough...

I finally gave up and started wearing only capris and ankle length pants. I even cuff my jeans now because that's the only way I can wear them. and belts? haha, If I try to use a belt, the pants just end up lokoing like shit!! cinched up all tight on my waist. ugh.

I appreciate drawstring PJ pants more than anyone could imagine. I've been really sick recently, and I lost over 10 pounds, so now none of my pants fit me anymore, and none of anyone else's do, either. :(

^ha, that's hilarious syymph and fn - my pants are all like 4 inches too long! Seriously, who in the fuck are pants being designed for?!?!?!? At 5'4" I'm exactly average height for an American woman, but at 125 pounds (and that's 15 pounds LESS than average) I'm a size 7 or 9 because of my big hips, and all my pants run at least 3 inches too long - shouldn't they be making pants for girls pretty much exactly my size??? For all the talk we hear about how curves are good.... And, dude, J.Lo. She should be fucking shot. Her pants don't fit girls with asses... AT ALL :p

See, and here I am needing AT LEAST a 33 inch inseam, preferably 34 inch! And I don't know what size I am, probably a size 4. But I have the legs of someone who is 5'9 - 5'10, because that's how tall I was supposed to be. :(

Don't the pants you buy come in "Long"? (ie: 27L) It's fairly common in almost all the stores I shop in. It's for those lucky girls with extra long legs. I'll usually buy a long pair (they have 34-36" inseams generally) so I can wear strappy heeled sandals with jeans without having them become "high-water" pants.

Most brands don't make 'long' in a size that's small enough to fit me. And I can only wear uhh, 2 brands, so it sucks.

where are you shopping? Every store I shop at has a short length, medium length, and long length, in every size, even as small as 0.

The only brands that fit me are diesel and abercrombie. Diesel I can't afford.

In Abercrombie, because their sizes are so inflated, I am a 0 or sometimes 00. They don't make a 00 long. As it is, they usually sell out immediately, both in stores and online, of the 0 L.

lol.... Julia you can't find pants that fit, and I can't find tops. I feel your pain honey. Phooey.

Alright so these pictures aren't that good, but what do you expect when you have no one to take pictures for you :(

Edit that post that didn't show the image as you wanted, and look down towards the bottom of the page when you are in edit mode, and you should be able to click a box that says 'disable smilies' or something like that. Then the pic should work, provided hotlinking is allowed from myspace.com.

Second link doesn't work because it asks you to log in.
