From the other perspective, I knew my last steady was moving away and still threw myself into it. A guy I've seen a few times recently is moving O/S and while there's nothing I can or would do to change that I'd still like to keep seeing him until he goes. I guess it depends on whether you're prepared to ride that particular rollercoaster to the end but I figure that if you like them and they like you, have fun with it while you can even if it hurts when you leave.

Because in the end, it's not the break up you'll remember but the fun you had together.

I would find it weird if I was involved with someone and didnt know their last name, but then again if I didn't find it out accidently I doubt I would remember or care to ask.
Imagine if they were the perfect partner/soul mate and then you found out their last name as so something stupid..

In other news i'm hoping to be out of this thread rather soon *fingers crossed*
