i saw these four words "half in, half out" in Binks' poem, and it kind of lead me somewhere...
Half in, half out, the door won't close and yet my feet refused to be moved.
The man at the desk has led everyone through and yet I still stand alone, waiting.
"Help me," I shout into the silence. But I am nowhere, and my words float into nothingness.
Follow them. Somewhere behind me, something pushes me, but i fall into space. Falling. The air against my cheeks the sweet caresses I lack.
I hear it call to me. I want to answer. I scream it, and yet no words are spoken. I touch you, but feel nothing. Can you live with freedom?
"Help me," I shout into the silence. But I am nowhere and my words float into nothingness.
