^^^ Rosencavelier, absolutely we want to legalise MDMA for it’s therapeutic significance. I think it was in Dr Holland’s book I read the analogy that MDMA is a “vitamin for the soul” (if not, I’m sorry I know I read it somewhere). That really stood out to me because that is basically how I see it.
I don’t see myself as having any psychological or psychiatric problems, yet the benefit I’ve gained in relationships, self confidence, and overall well being that I attribute to Ecstasy over the last four years is indeed significant. Of course the therapeutic significance to people with genuine psychological or psychiatric problems can’t be underestimated. Sorry this is all a bit O/T.
As for the program, given that it was only a ten minute slot I thought it was quite good. Yes it could have been longer, but the positive thing is that the segment was not the usual media crap. At least people who either don’t know much about MDMA or have only ever heard the usual media b.s. are now given some decent information.
Finally, I was glad to see the interview with Dr Julie Holland because I have just finished reading her book ‘Ecstasy: The Complete Guide’.
