Shrooming tomorrow. Need music!

Here's a few CDs from my library to share with my friends...

For shrooms try the Olias CD from start to end... truly a "Whoa" experience!

You can play these in page or download individual files (must be member to download entire folder at once).... for this I strongly recommend downloading and playing all continuously as it is mostly seamless between tracks and you dont want to have to open your eyes to start the next one

HarmonicMantra & GoddessAwakening should also be pretty intensely awesome while shrooming as well.

All of them really ;)

Your're welcome!!!

Artist: The Flaming Lips
Album: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

Listened to this album while watching the sun set while tripping on 4-aco-dmt, so very similar to mushrooms in a way. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

I'll second Beats Antique (cool combination of world music & edm), Tame Impala (rocks!), Animal Collective, & the Flaming Lips. If you can get ahold of the Flaming Lips VOID dvd that would be great. If you're in a rock type mood, Portugal. The man is really great as well.

I'd also recommend Phish & Grateful Dead if you're into that sort of thing. Side 2 of the Terrapin Station vinyl used to be part of my trip ritual :D And May '77 if you're wanting to listen to some live dead. Almost any of the livephish releases & dvds would probably be really cool as well.

While in the realm of psychedelic "classics," can't omit such standards as Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles (revolver & later ;)), and Led Zeppelin.

Bluegrass i've always found to mesh well with shrooms. If you're open to that try Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers, Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Emmit Nershi Band, Grateful Dawg (Garcia & Grisman), and of course Del McCoury Band.

And for some chill electro, i'd recommend Machinery of the Night

Fuck yes.
Jimi especially, I love listening to him.

going to recommend Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear. one of the weirdest, coolest sounding albums ever... there are so many subtleties going on that just pop out at you while tripping.
