I've removed a couple of posts, you're getting a little too specific on locations. Thanks :)

Do you think there is much of a worry to picking ones near main roads/heavy industry etc? I just wonder if the toxicity they take in would be much worse...

My area teased the shit out of me by producing about a billion non-actives in late april, but has now just completely dried up and even they're gone :(.

You Melbs folk don't know how lucky you are in this aspect...but we still have better surf :D!

There's no doubt Melb is the mushy and party capital.

The surf kicks ass in S.W Vic BTW

Arctic swell=good surf

Arctic wind=good mushy climate

;)

Darn it, I've got Mushroom Leaf Syndrome, where every fucking pile of vaguely brown/yellow/neautral/reddish leaves appears to be a massive patch of mushrooms.....

I don't know much about them, but I went for a trek in a park near my area, I saw quite a few mushrooms but none stuck out to me as being magical. :( Mostly smaller greyish ones and a few bright orange ones. Is it possible to post pics and people can help identify them? or is that against the rules?

Hey there scientist, welcome to BL :)

Just incase you missed them here are the guidelines for this thread.

No asking for ID's.

No asking for spots to search or places to hunt.

If this thread gets long like the last few have, make sure you completely read it and search the old ones so we don't have to keep repeating the same information over and over.

Lets try and keep it all together in one thread.

...and remember this is not social

Enjoy!

Lil angel15 :)

Yeah man. Psilocybe Subaeruginosa. Wouldn't have posted photos if they weren't.

Didn't pick any, hopefully the mycelial network has expanded since i have visited. Might go have a look tomorrow.

Just went on another quick hunt. As you can see they are starting to dry up, hence the yellow cap. I must stress, i found a patch of about 50 Galerina within 2m of these mushrooms. I was going to take a photo to show their striking resemblance but it started to rain so i took off. To all the noobs out there, be fucking careful. I had to pull a couple out of the ground before i realised they weren't subs.
