Should Ecstasy be legal?

I believe all recreational substances should be legal to an extent.
Drugs with a higher Bad trip reports in which the user is more likely to in danger themselfs and/or others,(high xtracts of salvia, LSD, DMT, excetra..) should be monitored by age. While the other "soft" drugs, soo to speak should be legal at all stakes but with an age restriction. Like tabacco and alcohol.
And like Tabacco and alcohol, the government should tax them so they can say, "Holy Shit! " seeing how much money that they could of been making this whole time.

Depending on where you live you may or may not be getting pure mdma, not everyone is getting clean mdma.

Do a quick google search and see how people died from ingesting "ecstasy" which actually turned out to be PMA for example.

i think it should be legal as long as some rules were established, like with alcohol, just do it in a safe environment and dont drive, and there should probably be an age limit of course

How I wish THAT was true!!!! I haven't had anything even close to descent in like 8 months. I've only done it twice in that time frame because there is literally NOTHING around. When it is around, my guy can never seem to find it. I've had enough bad shit (meth, DXM, amp) to have learned my lesson, for sure! If MDMA was legalized, I think it would cut way down on all the bullshit that's sold as MDMA. That's a beautiful thing!!

A lot of the risk of taking e is not knowing what's in your pill... so legalizing it would allow the government/pharm companies to sell pure MDMA.

Yes. 100%. Actually, if the govt. would allow it, and get PROPER, FACTUAL information on it to the public...it would eliminate some of the criminal element, less honest hardworking people in prison because of it. Used properly, it is more beneficial than alcohol...no more damaging, and perhaps actually safer than alcohol use. Plus the govt. could make money on it like they do alcohol.

No matter, I don't think rolling is going to be a legal activity anytime soon....pot has a better chance of becoming legal than x....

REAL E is incredible. Most people have methbombs and other shit pills....thinking it's real x....when they finally get ahold of the real thing, they flip out....real E is slightly psychedelic to me in high doses, especially if I smoke some high grade herb with it....incredible.

I know some guys that think methbombs are the shit.....yuck.

We have friends that think speedy pills are what "real" mdma is as well. They had the opportunity to try real mdma (tested in a lab) one time and the were pissed that they "only" rolled for 7 hours!

I second that.

Decriminalisation would be a good start (ie issue an on the spot fine, confiscate their roll). Face it, people are going to do drugs. You don't want to openly encourage it, but it's no good thinking you can wipe it out. You can't and any one who thinks they can is a fool.

Of course the nirvana would be legalisation - then you'd know exactly what you're getting every time (you'd just read the label). Plus legalisation would open up research into the short / long term effects.

But much as I might hope, I think it will just stay a dream.

I think people should need liscenses in order to use certain drugs, even alcohol because theres always the dickheads who overdo it and these guys could be cut out witha points system like we have here in oz. If you get in trouble due to drugs then you lose points, you lose all your point and you lose your rights to use drugs for a certain amount of time.
