Short/Long Hot/Cold Day/Night: Would YOU Describe YOUR Drink??

What the hell is wrong with you people that it's been a month since someone's posted here. I'm studying, so I have an excuse, but you people...

Been on the James Boags Premium lately. Dont know why i stopped drinking them. Same alcohol content as reg bundy and turkey cans and half the price. More bang for your buck while maintaining a bit of class. :)

These have only been on the market for 6 months or so but I have already been thoroughly enjoying them the whole time. Usually would only drink 101 proof Turkey when it had been scored for me from people coming back from overseas ala Duty Free. They are good, I don't think I could go back to normal turkey premix now. On my third one.

Do really feel like a beer though. Haven't had a beer for a couple of weeks... an ice cold Coopers would be lush right now.

I know the feeling. Just wish they came in stubbies.
 
Enjoying a couple of Stella stubbies tonight here at home. Haven't varied too far away from Stella for a few months now, except a six pack of Coopers Red which I thoroughly enjoyed. Coopers was the only beer I drank for a 3 or 4 years, so it brought back some good memories.

Noticed tonight that there is a new pre mix bourbon that might be worth a try.

According to the label its a blend of basic Wild Turkey and Rare Breed. Should be worth a try.

The Gentlemen Jack and cola bottles are pretty nice, JD was my drink for a while too.
 
Whoa. I did know there was a new Bulliet on the market but hadn't looked into them. Reading the descriptions they don't sound like the sort of drink I would usually buy, but I would try them for sure.

Shame they are even more expensive again than the two premixes I mentioned in my last post.
 
Couldn't find those Turkey Rare Breeds so went with a four pack of imported Grolsch.

I heard on the radio that choice did a review of imported beers vs their Australian brewed licensed versions. Here is the article. It's interesting, we know how to do things here in Australia :)
 
^ Interesting article, Im going to post it in the AUSS DD alcohol thread, D_M has said a few times how much better the imported ones are than the locally made ones, I'll be interested to see what he says, as I've never had a problem with the locally brewed ones personally.
 
Not the best article imo. Not all beer takes 6-8 weeks to get here by sea, nor does all of it come in dry containers. Majority come in reefer temperature controlled boxes.
Our boutique breweries do a brilliant job and so do foreign ones.....
 
Finally tried those Wild Turkey Rare Breed pre mix. Didn't taste much different from a normal can of bourbon on first impressions.

I worked out it is only a dash of Rare Breed, a smidgen of sorts.
