Short/Long Hot/Cold Day/Night: Would YOU Describe YOUR Drink??

I bought two bottles of Cab Sav today solely because they were from The Y Series and I'm a total narcissist. They were also cheaper if you bought two, which really spoke to me.

Once again I am drinking McAllister reserve and coke. Dan Murphies really needs to make another brand of scotch as cheap as this one so I can add some variety to my day.

Can't beat that taste =D

Casked white with a hint of concentrated lime cordial right now. In 5 or 10 minutes I will be moving on to, thats right you guessed it, McAllister Reserve and coke.

coopers sparkling is my nice refreshing ale of choice after dinner with shiraz and little creatures...all of the aforementioned being goooood!
:)

Cans of Southo and cola. Oh yeah.

Nice to ease back into drinking this afternoon after the horrendous mess I was last night.

Scotch on the rocks. Something Grouse. Stealing it off my housemate but he said I could hit it, got it duty free. Sure he didn't mean over half of the 1.125L bottle but speculative definitions aren't my thing.

$4 Dry White clean skin. It's drinkable, sure. Then I've got an $8 bottle of something to hit. It's a sauvignon but I forget details beyond that.

Not a fan of wine, but am surely going to drink it.

It's kinda hard finding cheap wine that hasn't been processed with fish or crustacea. The thought of drinking tiny particles of fish makes me feel a little queasy. I hate seafood.

I can't stand cheap wine. It makes my stomach turn, makes my head ache, invites nausea to the party and generally isn't palatable. Once, many years ago, I could drink bottles of wine at 5 bucks and less a bottle - now I can't drink anything that costs under 15. If cheap wine is all there is, I pass.

Beer, on the other hand....As long as it isn't the absolutely cheapest piss, I'll enjoy it.

...calls for desperate measures. Been there. :)

Back in my drinking days, I would "fix" the really bad wines with a squirt of vodka. That may sound weird, but it actually smoothes out the wine. I think it's called a Brutal hammer? Anyway, it would make a horrible wine drinkable (and get you hammered faster).

Funny, I can get shit wine down although I don't like wine at all but any shit beer makes me dry wretch nowadays, and I love beer.

At least with the shitty beer, you know what's in it. Carbonation, hops, water and alcohol (basically). Oversimplified, yeah, but in those cheap wines - urgh, you never know.
