Hey I decided it finally join BL anyways Ive just started experimenting with IVing & have a few questions.
I have a friend ive shot mostly oxy with but also heroin.
he puts the oxy pills on a spoon & than crushes them with another spoon on top. he than puts water on the spoon with the crushed oxy & draws it back in to his rig. he re-uses rigs too so i guess this could contaminate the spoon.
If I were to reuse that same spoon could i be at risk of catching what he has? (Im pretty sure the answer to this is yes but im just curious)
anyways. I have re-used the same spoon as him before but he has washed it clean with water first before I've proceed to crush my oxy on it and do the same. I'm assuming this is safe?
u dont have to wash the spoon with boiling water or anything do u?
I think im worrying about nothing as obviously washing the spoon would get rid of any hep on it right?
It would be a bit of a worry if water didnt clean off the blood completely cuz his used alot of times & eventually when I go there his gunna give me a spoon to use that he has already drawed liquid off with a syringe at some point.
My friend also says he USED TO have hep C but it was cured. Im not sure if this is possible. or if he just means the disease is dormant.
Is hep C curable?
if it is curable, would that mean that I couldnt catch it off him cuz he has been cured?
Obviously if he has hep C & it's just dormant I could still catch it off him.
I got some tests done anyway & Im clear of hep B, C, & HIV. It's been a wake up call as my liver function said my enzymes are high or something & I might have hep C. It's a relief I don't.
I can do research on the rest. all I really need to know is if washing the spoon with just tap water will get rid of any diseases that may be on the spoon from him drawing back liquid from a re-used rig. If tap water is good enough to clean the spoon does it HAVE to be boiling water. cuz in past the his just quickly held the spoon under the tap & scrubbed it a bit.
Im pretty sure the water would wash off any blood. just wanna be safe than sorry
what do other ppl do?
When I go to his house should I bring my own spoon?
Is there anyway of properly cleaning a spoon that has been used by someone else?
