Share Something Positive from Your Day vs. It's All Around You

I've managed to sleep a lot today. This is also my 16th day of no smoking and I'm finally finding it easy, no cravings.
 
I've been unemployed for about four months and got a phone call from my old employer asking me to come back to work for them again. Hopefully start back with them next week :)
 
^I know what you mean.

Two weeks today opioid/drug-free. Woke up after finally sleeping through a solid 8 hours unassisted and I actually thought about how beautiful the day was before I thought about anything else.
 
^If I could figure out how to make fireworks go off, I would. I'm so happy for you, pinpoint. (((<3))) You know, neversickanymore would have a video of fireworks going off in a nanosecond--I really need to get more tech savvy.;)

My mom is coming to visit in about 2 hours. She's 85--almost 86--and every visit feels more precious than the last. I still can't quite believe I turned down a ticket to the Dead concert this Saturday but as the person that offered me the ticket said, "Don't stress. You've got your priorities straight." If we would have gotten another ticket, I could have taken my mom.=D
 
On vacation with my wife and kids. Let's raise our glasses to some PAID TIME OFF people!
 
^LOL, I have never had a paid vacation in my life! But I've been lucky enough to get vacations that I can afford anyway so I'm hardly complaining. Have fun, gmilfer. Family memories are priceless when everyone is relaxed and having fun. (Take your kids to see Inside Out--great movie about integrating your emotions.:))
 
Europe is also celebrating gay rights like never before. However, with visible resistance from those same conservative minds that mines human rights every time.
