like how you managed to use the... how can i say... more "experimental" style synth composition but frame it around the footwork percussion. added your own style to it. the hyper colored 8bit image goes well with the sounds.

i've been sober recently and remixing pop songs ;p i know one thing is for sure tho, if i wanna get good at producing, drugs get in the way for me. i end up just binge watchin youtube/tv then feel like shit and can't focus till im clean for a week or so. heck all my creative energy comes when sober i've realized.

how do you feel about making tunes sober or intoxicated ?
 
I'm pretty much the same way, I stopped smoking weed regularly months ago, I become non-functional when I do smoke daily. I used to work on songs high a long time ago, I think weed has lost it's magic for me now tho.

I think creativity is tied to life experiences in some way. When I'm productive and doing lots of stuff, talking to people, and am excited and inspired by life, I think it transfers into my music.

It would be nice to commit to learning the craft properly. Not sure if I have the drive or inclination...
 
I finally decided what to do with my life. Took me a long time, but the exitement I'm feeling now is better than (most^^) drugs.
 
4 days to 4 full months off methadone and all the rest! Totally sober now and mood swings getting better, stable.
