scary shit salvia

I just found a very strange patent for a product which is apparently Salvinorin A enhanced chewing gum.

http://www.faqs.org/patents/app/20120288450

I am massively interested in somehow re-replicating a similar product with some of the 100x that I have, and I was wondering if any of you guys would have any ideas on how to go about this? I am thinking of complexing with hpbcd, and then somehow suspending the product within pre made chewies. I wouldn't have a clue how to make my own chewies, so I was going to attempt to make a chewie solution out of deli bought ones.

Id say that it would be comparably intense to the buccal method, depending on dosage of course.
That patent is hilarious.

It is definitely not something to be taken lightly. One person who tried it around the same time as me came back from the experience and said in all seriousness "If I didn't believe I had a soul before, now I know for a fact I do."

It's sad how often this has been given to unsuspecting people at parties for a laugh at their expense...utter perversion of such a powerful and potentially useful experience. Indeed, salvia deserves the utmost respect. There are not many things in this world known to produce such a dramatic alteration of consciousness, and certainly is no toy. It's downright shameful how irresponsible some people can be with such a sacrament.

Good point well made.

Another point worth raising is all the horror stories are about extracts. Some home grown leaf instead of tobacco in a joint is very recreational.
A very subtle but pleasant twist to the weed high.
Its when using leaf regularly that reverse tolerance really becomes a thing IMO.

Not true for everybody. I have actually experienced level I and A experiences off unadulterated plant matter, while relatively pure salvinorin a (98%) was still pretty much hit or miss, no matter how much I consumed (sometimes less than 1mg had me go completely batshit while other times I could smoke 50mg and only get a slight tingling on my skin). I never consumed Salvia (/extracts) frequently, so tolerance has never been an issue either. Besides, a horror story is what I'm looking for when I use salvia, not fucking tingling skin, fuck that.

I am also aware of the circus-like feeling.

The word "carnival" seems more appropriate somehow. There's something very demented about Salvia Space.

Hardly anyone mentions the laughing. I've laughed on Salvia like on no other drug (well my first few times acid and mushrooms had me laugh a lot as well) and found that aspect very pleasurable.

Yeah, the laughing is fun, but it's not the same kind of laughing caused by other drugs. I not even sure how to categorize it...

There was a certain experience written years ago about salvia chewing gum. IIRC, the effects lasted until the gum was spat out. Can't find it now, but it sounded pretty intense from what I do remember of it.

Has anyone else sensed that they were somehow being deceived during a salvia trip? I've had the impression more than once that The Lady was tricking me into believing something that wasn't true, but I cannot pinpoint exactly what it was I was tricked into believing... That, along with the Little Ones messing with my head, is why I'm cautious about going back. I feel like all the entities in that realm are there just to screw with me 8( But I really do like the novelty of the experience, and the body dissection doesn't actually hurt %)

Will it still be a comparably intense experience? I've had a gram of salvinorin A before, but just like the plant matter smoking (!) that stuff was pretty much hit or miss for me. I wish I had been into plugging already back then, but it took opiates and mdma to convince me of that route's awesomeness.
I don't know for sure but I've read a report by somebody who plugged salvia mixed with their spit (makes sense since salvinorin A is not water soluble yet is active buccally, presumably due to some enzyme in saliva) and they reported intense effects. I made a thread about salvia extracted into propylene glycol a while back after reading some literature about IM injecting salvinorin A in a 1:1 propylene glycol:water solution. I bought the PG but have yet to test it. I'm surprised nobody has tried it though, since it's likely to work and will almost certainly be more effective than sublingual preparations. It ought to be a good way to slow down the onset and extend the duration while increasing the potency enough to achieve visionary effects among the many attemptees who are unable to achieve intense effects sublingually.

I think it could be a very valuable ROA for salvia since it's difficult to discern how one finds themselves in a "level 5" experience with smoked extracts -- it simply happens too fast. Salvia has profound effects on people's perception of their identity, and so I'm hopeful that by slowing down the psychological transition into alternate "salvia identities" by using a plugged visionary dose it will be possible for users to gain some insights into the nature of human self-awareness and egoic construction. I think double a visionary smoked dose would be a good starting point for testing the waters. I'm still waiting for the mood to strike me but PG is dirt cheap and readily available so if anybody else wants to take the plunge please post the results in my thread. When I ultimately do try it I will likely combine the plugged salvia dose with DXM, as in the past DXM has been effective in largely removing the skin prickling and other undesirable effects that I've found distract me from developing a keener understanding of an already confusing experience.
