still cameras are allowed though..

Does all city beats still exist??? Because I went down there and I know Higher Ground is gone but if all city beats is in fact still there, then how do I get to it?? The only way I know of to get inside is to go through Higher Ground and go up the stairs, so is there any other way to get in?

if you read above it says they have moved right up the street..they are no longer by higher ground...its right next to the pita pit and i think just north of the wendys on high st...

^^^ john larner's playing?... i didnt know that.
i knew slater was playing, but didnt know john was.

jason, see you in a few days.

Ok i know for a fact that backpacks being allowed in really needs to happen. Without letting us leave for 12 hours being there some of us that dance will know we need a change of clothes. Or at least a shirt or something. And i know i also take in a towel because dancing as much as you can which with these DJs playing i wont stop till i drop (literally its happened before) then i need a change of clothes or something and the only way to do that without a pass out at all throughout the whole time is to allow back packs...so whomever is making thise desision please take what has been said into consideration.
one love,
kyle wilson

Oh ya and holly mutha fuckin hellz ya get hyped whut whut:)

It is nice to see timeslots posted so early, the only thing I kind of think will be strange is seeing some of these Dj's outside while it is still light outside. Either way this lineup is off the hook and I really can't wait for this party. I hope to see a good turnout for this party because it really deserves one.

Sorry for the mix-up... I had John Larner on the brain, and I meant to type Slater Hogan. Those guys are putting out quality stuff right now together, so when I think of one, I think of the other right off the bat... I edited my original post.
See everyone in a few days!

i am so excited. I'm having issues containing my enthusiasm for this party.. I have so many sick ass uk hard house bombs to drop it's not even funny :)

Can't wait to meet a bunch of you BL peeps. I'll also have about 75 cds on hand for anyone who'd like one to give out during my set!

See you all on Sat!

s'up with foursqare and clayborne playing so early? Both those guys make me dance my ass off, and in the hot ass sun, thats not so good..cant you put some trance on early so that the really hoppin artists are on when you can really do something with what they present?? jmo.

Im thinking foursqare at sunset..yum.
and clayborne, well, shit..those dirty breaks are where its at.
Really hipe it up for the dopeness that is Anne and Kimball Collins and the whole Planet of the Drums thing..

sweetness

frankly,

I appreciate this lineup, but the timeslots are not making sense. Why are columbus locals playing late beautiful slots when people who are driving 3 and four hours are going on in the heat of the day.

I am personally also coming to see 4square and Claybourne and Baby Anne. I know that you can't make anybody happy all the time. But I am only going to get to see one of my picks. And I organized a gang of mugs to drive up to catch them.

People travel to see regionals. 4squr and Clay-B rock up and down the midwest from nashville to wisconsin on the reg. It is common practice to put your locals and resident on at an earlier time and your regionals who have travelled hours to play (and drawn a crowd across as many hours to see them) your event at a later/better slot. That par for the course. Why would you have someone who can walk to the venue go on at 1am?

There's my fifteen cents and about a dollar fifty on behalf of my city.

as many have said, that line-up is still incredibly unbelievable- but what's the deal with foursqare and clay spining so early?

marea at least has a huge following- one that's more based in ohio than anywhere. she's a staple at parties and perfect for prime time. realizing there is incredible talent to fill those prime spots, it'd still be appropriate to have her later than 3 pm, especially since she has to travel so far.

I'm sure anyone chosen for this party is great or they wouldn't be on the line-up, but i'm discouraged that there are less established, more local folk with way better timeslots...

Just thoughts in my mind....

I tend to agree with dubsaxxy and DJLA..i mean come on..

isnt the idea to go and thrash it? Not thrash it...wait...thrash it...wait..wait..wait..thrash it?

((((also coming from one organizing a nice lil crew for the drive <<and it IS a drive>> that wants to hear the foursqare/clay combo...those guys have a hellava fan base that travels yo))))

once again...just my opinion (and my 30 dollas)

ok here we go... i understand everyone's thoughts and concerns... unfortunately certain artists were added at the last min and had to be fit in... there are hard decisions to make and i wish every single local/regional could play 1am main stage but its an impossibility...

im sorry we cant make everyone happy..it wouldnt be such an issue if it were flipped and its an all night party...

so anyways...im sorry we cannot accomodate everyone at certain times... =(

peace...

^^^^ well said mike...

as a promoter and dj of many years, these last few posts disappoint me...

i like 4square myself. good dj and nice gal... but these other guys have paid their dues long before there was a foursquare...

what youre saying by posting that way is: "mike donovan, slater, midi, doug, kid, mark, jason do not deserve to play those times"...

is that what youre saying?...

she is a very good dj... im not taking anything away from here, but im not giving her something she's not either. she is talented. but these other people have stronger talent.

she is a new kid on the block, compared to these otherwise, veterans.

again, my opinion.
