ok i also forgot... Back packs will be alllowed in...but they will be searched...no food/no drinks are allowed to be brought in...you can bring in still cameras but NO VIDEO CAMERAS...

understandable that not everyone can play at 1 am...not everyone can play at 10 pm either... but if you have the option of putting a regional who, frankly is headliner material, on or a local who hasn't *nearly* the fan base, seems like you would go with the headliner-type
 
but, she is probably character enough to say she doesnt care when she plays...

get there early... an entire day of great music.

ok well like i said...everyone has their opinions...and certain people have their fans and friends and what not...i understand this...but once again its all a matter of personal opinion... you can say what you want about certain locals/regionals but they have their fans as well...

i am sure the lady can rock it and has a great fan base...not doubting that.. like i said hard decisions had to be made...they were made and we will have to live with them... this party is an all day event...come out and support all the locals/regionals...

everyones always sayin its about the locals and stuff and want to see locals or whatever....then get there early and support....

either way i know theres gonna be upset people....cant please everyone....sorry...=(

Take it easy on the big guy kids. Mike is workin his ASS OFF to pull this event off proper. I'd like to see foursquare and clay earlier too but what can ya do.

come out early if you wanna support your people. Shit I'm readjusting my schedule to see marea drop it dirty:) It's a party lets have some fun and make some fuckin noise=D
 
all i know is, from start to finish, its non-stop quality music...

no matter what time it is, no matter who's playing...

props to mike, and all involved.

unfortunately its not just a matter of show up early ..get more bang for your buck..i wish it was..some of us work to pay the bills...

im just whining..thats my right..isnt that what a message board is for? Its been my experience that if someone is willing to post something, there are others that feel the same who *dont* post it.

unfortunately, ill be there late, ill miss my people's sets and ill be sad..but ill hear all about it from them and those that heard it and we'll all rock out together to the acts we *do* get a chance to catch.

i have no problem at all with people expressing their opinions....please do...im glad people are at least having a voice..but in saying that...it is once again opinion...period... timeslots are set...they are finalized ...unless a headliners flight gets fucked but i doubt it....

so lets move on and get ready for sat.... good times...good vibes.. i cannot wait to see everyone play...gonna be a fucking awesome day of music...

Ya know..... I look at it this way. Think of the 100's of djs out there, who'd have given a testicle away (just kidding, but ya get my point) to even play any slot? I'm definitely looking forward to seeing a lot of regional djs i've not had the pleasure of seeing play live before.

I just think y'all need to give Mike and the other promoters a break here guys. Bitching isn't gonna change anything. Just come out and enjoy the non-stop music!!! =D =D =D

this should be THE event of the summer.... the lineup is incredible and the venue is spacey and in the beloved cbus. I have yet to see Craze, so i'm hella excited.

i'll definitely be there strutin' my stuff
 
how freekin' beautiful is this!!! I mean everything is set in stone, all that is left is a 3 day wait. Its just good to see open arms and minds welcome. Any kind of opinions, good are bad, are helpful. Keep bouncin'

Come on people....just think of the 12 hours of pure electronic music you all will be hearing. Like Mike said, it's not possible to put everyone on a 1am timeslot. Last summer I saw several music festivals over in Europe and let me tell you even Paul Oakenfold, The Chemical Brothers, Groove Aramada, Sasha, etc....perform between 4 and 7 pm. Unfortunately you can't please everyone but Mike and ALL who are throwing this festival are doing the best they can to make the day a memorable experience filled with lots of GREAT TALENT! We've never had a festival like this come through the midwest before. I AM TRULY AMAZED AT THE UNBELIEVABLE LINEUP FOR ZOOLU MIDWEST BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND ALL THE EVENTS THAT ARE HAPPENING!!!

As Michael Jackson has said in a song that I forget the title too...."JUST ENJOY YOURSELF!" (I think it's a Michael tune)

So come on out Saturday and dammit "just enjoy yourself" while listening to great music and meeting new people!

Hope to see many faces and many people dancing their butts off!

Hey all. Sorry to inform you that it's a definate no go for me and Brian. We've had a very devastating thing happen in my family and have services to attend to Saturday. I said something in the last thread but I was still trying to find a way to make it to this. I'll probably be out of commission for a while seeing as though this is very difficult for me to deal with. Again I would love to go but maybe another time.

I'm coming from the Ville and I'll be there at 3 o clock representing for the people there, but I will say this, the reason I go to shows up in C-bus is to see new talent that I never have before. I love to bounce around trying to find something new.

Also, I definately understand putting great people in early though. Think about it, it is much better and creates a better vibe if you kick the party off right, with talented people, than stick someone up front who everyone has heard, an no one cares about. It will be good to see more people dancing early.

Also, about the sunlight, I love day raves. I always thought the point of raves in general is to take music somewhere it has never been or often isn't. And sunlight is one of those places. I love sweating my ass off to great music. It worked at Rev. 3 and it should work here.
