SAT scores

1290 total, dont remeber the exact breakdown math/verbal wise. I swore to myself I would take it again and do better, but alas I ended up at city college where SAT scores mean jack shit.

SAT- (took them the first year they changed to the new system)...
essay- 12
writing- 760
math- 400
reading- 750

i remember because my mother posted them on the wall and cut the bottom of the sheet off so that you couldn't see the math score. and i'm a business major going to school part time at SF state... makes a lot of sense. :D

I got a 26 on the ACT; I think it's pretty good considering I didn't prepare for it at all and I've been barely passing school since I was in 4th grade.

:)

780 math/740 verbal for a 1520, and this was in 2002 so before the new writing section. Didn't take the ACT. Didn't take any prep courses either; but I was a hardcore nerd and had no friends so I always spent way more time on school than other people... all AP courses, math club/competitions, etc.
I didn't want to leave my state for college, so I went to University of Miami for their undergrad Neuroscience program (which required an SAT score of 1350 just to enter). Very good school (Division 1, and in Tier 1 of US News rankings), but not ivy league.

I don't really buy the accuracy of correlating SAT scores with IQ, but from a quick search such formulas are somewhat accurate for me; my IQ is 151 and the value from iqcomparisonsite.com is 149.98. I'm sure there's a rough correlation; obviously someone with an IQ of 180 isn't going to score an 800; and people seem to think that pointing out exceptions disproves any correlation whatsoever, which simply isn't the case. There's always outliers.

I got 1540 (800 verbal, 740 math) on the old one and 2360 (800 verbal, 790 math, 770 writing) on the new one. And 35 on the ACT.

Got me a full ride at my college.

i dont remember exactly what i got on the act, three friends and i all scored from a 31-34. i was second or third...that was the only test i took, i applied to two schools went to the less recognized of the two and am currently sitting on a year and a half leave of absence with all the aid on the shelf .
i found classes so easy that i failed them, plead insanity and had a semester taken off withOUT loss of my scholarships, and decided to take a break two years later. i like fucking with the system since i don't mean shit ;)

I got a 1480 on the old one - 760 verbal and 720 math. I also got a 750 on the SAT-2 for Chemistry. It was that interest in chemicals that would make the former test irrelevant :)

1200 on the dot. 590 reading 610 math and then 610 writing if you wanna count the new section thats 1810 total. Gonna be a senior this year hoping to get into CU Boulder

2000 on the new one
650ish and 750ish on the non-writing sections, so about a 1300 something
