evening folks.
recently acquired 2 san pedro cuttings (payment for work) and one peruvian torch cutting (trade). chopped and dried them for about a month on the roof of the apt building i live/work at. the pedros began to show signs of fungus - small black tar looking spots on them, which i wiped off with my finger. they then began to callous yellow in spots and overall lighten in hue. planted them in small pots with cactus soil mix, moved them to the south side of the roof, opposite of where they began, as per advice from a gay old man in my building. i have only just rooted them about a month ago so i have not watered them to avoid any rotting. i even dropped one and tipped another one over because i am a clumsy idiot. it had not made any roots over that period of time but had some mild mold spores on the dried star immersed in soil. i'm worried about the yellowing and was wondering if anyone had some tips, much obliged.

peruvian torch has no blemishes. i plan to take a cutting offim and create a pedrouvius hybrid, but that's a long time from now. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sPdmW4KPxNg/UlhfXddKKoI/AAAAAAAAAEw/z6BTfd7fA6A/s1600/1009131843.jpg
