free base stink!

Has anyone come across a methamphetamine free base that smells like dead fish?
Really, no kidding, Like dead fish!

I wonder if that has something to do from phosphine gas?

^ More likely due to the synthesis involving the use of methylamine (methylamine/dimethylamine/trimethylamine are responsible for the smell of rotting fish)

Methylamine! Maybe that is the source of the stink (man was it bad!). On another note, has anyone noticed that this freebase oil can slowly turn red while sitting on the shelf for a few days? Maybe it is oxidizing, or Maybe polymerizing?
