My pain management doc writes me one script for Vicodin with no refills and soma with 1 refill. Long story short I could not get to my doctor quickly enough to refill the Vicodin but I did refill the soma on time a week or so apart. Because I had no pain killer I used most of the soma to compensate for this past week going against what is expected of me. A few major pharmacies know I have health insurance. Rite aid and mom and pop Pharms do not. My question is, do I try and fill both scripts after 5pm when my docs office closes (which I will get tomorrow) at rite aid which does not know my current health insurance and just say I don't have health insurance and pay cash to get both scripts filled. Or does rite aid have the ability to look at all scripts filled regardless of health insurance. I don't mind paying a lot of money this month to do this. Last time I saw my doc I asked for Xanax because I was in the same predicament. She said this could kill me and gave me cymbalta, which did nothing for me. If I ask my doc to fill my soma early, I feel she will label me. What is the best course of action?
