Royal Doof 2010 ~ 12-14 June

^^ yeh would have to agree bout rainbow, i had a fkn great time, but tunage could a been better.

wish i could hit this but b in the middle of exams >.<

First post!

I'm going to this for the first time. Every doofer i speak to highly recommends it, and it's a 15min drive from my families farm so very convenient for recovery afterwards :D

Been to Rainbow serpent the last 2 years and have absolutely loved it. I do enjoy the flexibility Rainbow offers music wise..so will be a bit different going to a mostly Psy orientated doof.

I'm sure i'll bump into a bunch of you guys there without even realizing :)

would love to ditch winter psyfari and travel down to vic for this.
wouldn't be missing much, seeing that azax is appearing at both :)

" and where exactly are u going to be this year??? "

Directions (as taken from the Royal Doof booklet they were handing out at Every Picture):

From Melbourne, take the Western Hwy (A8) until about 10km past Ballarat then turn off onto the Sunraysia Hwy (B220). After approx 30km at Lexton turn left, then immediately right, onto Lexton-Ararat Road. This will take you through to the Pyrenees Hwy (B180). Turn left and travel for about 15km. After Elmhurst, turn right at the sign for Landsborough and follow the arrows and signage to the site. Please drive safely and watch out for the sharp bend on the dirt road.

**** Sounds like it's out Rainbow way. Better not be near any wind turbines! ****

It's roughly 30min past the rainbow serpent site. My farm is just out of Landsborough and nope there aren't any wind turbines there! They do make for a great backdrop for Rainbow though :D

Doh so it's not gonna be at it's usual location?? Bummer - i love Royals usual spot! Ah well, im sure it will kick arse wherever it is. And yeah if we can avoid the kinda wind we had at rainbow that would be good.

Having worked in the green energy sector myself, I would have taken one look at the rainbow site, saw the turbines and thought it might not be the best place for a doof because of the high winds...

Why use common sense when a party is involved :\
