I'm pretty sure this is the same site as last year! If it's not the same site, it's 5min down the road from it.

I think they like that site for the natural amphitheatre.

Psilosubnaut- A good point you make haha. I bet they were more thinking of how trippy the lights would look in the background to all the trippers!

Interesting point to make- The mountain range where the royal doof is held was considered to have a large number of wind turbines installed about 5+ years ago. Will probably be just as windy there as it was at rainbow :O

Ahhh i see- i missed last year, was moving into our new house. I'll miss the old location..... but from the sounds of last year it was kick arse!
 
Same site as lat year guys n gals. It's a nice protected place with plenty of tree's to fill with lasers at night :)

zemullman- Don't get me started on wind towers... They were mainly built by a company in s.w Vic and it was all profit orientated. The general director was friends with government officials.

They aren't very efficient, they break down all the time, the general maintenance is expensive and if you knew how much coal fired power it took to make each tower you would be sickened. Not to mention the process of building them is more toxic to the earth than what they save over a few years in carbon emissions.

Production has pretty much come to a stand still in the past 2 years. I hope the government invests in solar, wave and geo-thermal energy which are much better options

I wonder if anyone followed the red lights through the paddocks at rainbow, thinking it was part of the festival? LOL
 
^Nah man they won't send them out till probably mid May. They usually take their time like the rainbow ones do.
 
^Woohoo!:D I also got that email last week, which means the tickets should be arriving early next week!
 
All I can think about is this event, I only wish that they release more details on their website like who the local acts will be (fingers crossed for ozzy and terrafractual) and I wish the tickets would arrive soon.

And thank you! Now that the wedding is out of the way i can get prepared for Royal! Woo!! It's only a month away!!

^^Heck yes tickets recieved and I love the local lineup! Terrafractyl and ozzy ftw! also when I know what my costume will exactly look like (picking it up this weekend) I'll pm all you royal all a description so you can all come say hi.

Also look for the wasted yellow smiley face badge. Lol
 
awww i still havent got mine yet...they must not be too far away. did u also get a little booklet filled with fun fabulous royal info??? :)
