Opioids Roxicodone or Oxycontin: What would you prefer?

I would like to experience either one. I have only ever had run of the mill oxycodone 5's and 10's. Someone gave me an oxycontin 10 one time but I was scared of it, (LOL, but seriously!), so I traded it for 4 regular generic oxycodone 5's. I like the idea of no acetaminophen, now that I am a tad more knowledgeable. The word "roxicodone" makes me laugh, though. It sounds like the dog Astro on the Jetsons trying to say "oxycodone".

I used to get OC 80s and sometime the dude was out so he would give me Roxi 30s. I thought the OC was 10x better. I went through 10 Roxis a night and they only made me drowsy and no euphoria. A single 80mg OC would last me a good 6-8 hours and I would feel on top of the world. Plus I LOVE peeling the coating off off, crushing up, and snorting.
 
I will pick up OC's over Roxi's anyday. But if I can't find any OC's and all there is are some Roxi's i'll go ahead and pick them up to get out of withdrawal. I find the Roxi's to be more of an eye shutter then OC's. Either way you do enough good nod comes out of it.
 
I actually started out snorting OC 80's and maybe a roxi 30 if I found it. My "guy" had a script. But about a year ago he switched to Roxi 30's and now I am blues all the way. they r easier and quicker to crush up to snort, and I think they seem to last longer for me. They r also much easier for me to get since I now get a script myself.
 
No thought for me, roxi's.

The m30s dont have any talc in them and their really easy to crush, mix, filter, and iv.
 
But, here's my answer

I like the Roxi 30's. I take 7 of them every 6 hours and after trying every opiate preparation there is, as an eleven-year pain patient, it is the best. The 80's, which are available only brand name, Purdue, have a plastic matrix that made me literally throw up my entire first dose and which I had to take after eating a full meal. The 30's are so gentle, I can, and do, chew them up. By the way, bioavailability of oxys is best chewed unless you want to slam them or can find a suppository preparaaation from a compounding pharmacy. Snorting yields 15% less than swallowing. By the way, I detect a little meanness rearing its ugly head here. If I get any criticism for this or any other posts, I'm taking my marbles and going home. Life's too short to include mean people, in my opinion.
 
Well, I was prescribed percocet but that stuff is so damn expensive I decided to look into something cheaper and found liquid Oxyfast. I think it is the cheapest form of Oxy. I can get double the amount compared to Percocet, for a lot cheaper too. It was hard to find, though.

Oxyfast has been the best formulation of Oxy I have found. seems more potent, kicks in faster, and like I said, is just plain affordable. Between Roxi and the contins, I'd have to go with the Roxi; but with the pills I need approximately 20-40 milligrams more than the liquid.
 
I prefer OxyContin.. I just love the ritual of (doing this all in my car after copping since I cant wait to get home) scraping off the coating putting the pill in a cigarette wrapper (you know the sullafane shit) i just can't spell it.. crushing the pill in the sullafane on a book with a lighter.. making a couple lines outta the crushed pill. One line up each nostril and then snort a little drop of water out of the cap of a water bottle to help absorption. And yes I know the coating isn't the time release. Drive home and wait a few minutes for the high... and then.. the drip.

But truly, my favorite pain killer would be percs. All day every day.

I prefer oxy 30's (Roxicodone) because it is dependable, never varies, is always strong and after taking, "All is right with the world".

...I also lost a few tablets. Don't feel so bad about 20 - I lost 980 Mallinkrot 30's on the way home from the pharmacy. They fell out of my coat pocket somewhere near the LA river and we searched for three days but never found them. Luckily my doc rewrote the rx but it took 2 weeks to get them, with no backups, not even norcos! I dragged my body all over town getting and mailing police reports, trying to find a pharmacy to refill the script since my regular pharmacy wouldn't even with a police report, and over and over, what happened. And that was a GOOD outcome. As my doc said, "You're lucky I've been in a good mood lately."

Roxis obviously. Most people break the time release off the Contins anyway. Taking Roxis just saves a bit of effort.
 
I personally have never tried Roxicodone, but judging by how much I enjoy Oxycontin, probably the oxy. I do, however, know a friend who's been prescribed Morphine Sulfate and Roxicodone simultaneously for bone cancer, and he said that the Roxicodone was more enjoyable. Kind of weird for me because during my heroin addiction, his Morphine was keeping me high on the days I couldn't get a ride to the city for dope. Also, by all the research I have done, Oxycontin seems to be the most sought after and preferred out of the 2.
